This season of The Amazing Race (which just took home the Emmy for best Reality Competition Show again) is the nineteenth in its ten-year history, and the third that I will be tackling for recapping purposes. Eleven teams of two will be racing around the world for a $1 million prize starting Sunday night, and this will include visits to several places the show has never gone before, such as Denmark, Malawi, Indonesia and Belgium. There will also be at least two new twists in the game, including the show’s first-ever double-elimination, as well as a new wrinkle called a “Hazard”, which is a penalty that one team will have to incur right at the starting line and that they will have to complete before checking in at the Pit Stop.

One of the most stupid moments of the pilot was "Let's not tell them we were on Survivor."
These are reality TV contestants. Surely they know you were winners of Survivor, idiots.

They seem to be using a very refined class of high def cam this season. It looks almost like 3D in some scenes.

That was tricky. I think most people wouldn't correctly interpret that instruction or even read it carefully at the heat of the race - and it looked quite hot in Indonesia.

Sayang nga lang because Jenna looks hot. Ethan lost weight and his cancer therapy obviously reduced his handsome looks.
The twins have nice complexion, and look pretty even when sweaty and sun tanned. hehehe.
Parang walang malakas na team this season. Buti naman para unpredictable (sana).

They're the alpha male team of the season, so it seems likely they'll be in this position a lot.

swerte talaga. they, again, were awarded first place due to a mistake made by the team that arrived first. They have now placed first in 4 out of the 6 legs so far.

Swerte ulit nila because the run to the last pit stop was apparently pretty long and uphill while carrying their heavy backpacks under hot sun. They are so strong on physical challenges.
Sana the show can figure out a way to increase the chances of HOWEVER on the very last leg - or just finish it in a tough country like India or China instead of always boring U.S.A. race.

the Taxi Driver's Association of Panama decided the top 3 - ;D - Amazing Race.
I hope the American Taxi Drivers would do a similar thing so that the finale would go down as a foot race

None that I can remember.
Now THAT was the most boring TAR season finale that I can remember. Parang at no point did the 1st and 2nd place teams even see each other once they completed the first task. Pero hayop na "The Dump" yun. "The Dump" talaga e. I would've spent half a day looking for a clue there, since I'd have been sure that was it, too.

I'd say bawal ang use ng cellfone or internet sa finale. Puedeng magtanong but none of those electronic gadgets...wouldn't it be more interesting if they have to scramble to a public library to do some research? ;D
And I'd say like 10 tasks within the US..or make it a two-day race. Always too easy.
