Title: Recommended Portable Drive 500GB/1TB 2.5in

Mga bro, ano recommended portable drive nyo for HD collection and playback.
I have seagate freeagent theater+ na player, and 2pcs. 500GB freeagent go, maganda para sakin yung go, kaso phased out na yata at wala nako makita seller ng ganitong model. Puro goflex na lang at maraming negative review tong model na to. Ganon din ang WD, pati buffalo. Sa experience nyo, yung matagal nyo na ginagamit at di pa nagloloko, kahit anong itsura basta 2.5in lang. Please help, TIA  ;)

im using seagate 1TB and 500GB.  no issues naman so far.

i suggest for HD content, always go for 1TB...my experience is that 500gb is small for true HD.
nakakatamad kasi mag-palit ng drive while in relax-mode  :D.

Im using 500gb external hard drive for like 3 mos now for all my HD collections and it serves well. It is also much better w/ XBMC with it and your good to go

I have a WD elements SE 500GB (bought in Virramall) - 1+ year na, WD elements SE 1GB (bought in Amazon) - 1yr na and Seagate Expansion portable 1GB (bought in Amazon) - 1 yr na. I also have 2TB WD elements external (bought in Amazon) - 1yr na rin - this is not portable.

Never had any problem with the WD elements (I actually like the casing pa, more sturdy than the WD passport), but yung Seagate napuputol-putol yung connection sa USB, not sure kung natapat lang ako sa bad unit.

Try mo kung meron pa, cheapest sa Abacus (tapat ng PC express sa Virramall) at Compex stores sa mga malls.

May mga bago na ring portable with USB3.0, but di ko pa na try.
