OT: Guys, have noticed lately na Viva is releasing a lot of locally-minted versions of (relatively) new titles like A-Team and Tinkerbell Part3? I based this statement sa dvd barcodes ng nabili kong titles plus sa isa kong nakausap na Viva sales rep.

Plus, have you noticed na nade-degrade na yung quality ng covers nila. Parang colored xerox na lang yung iba.

That's sad. Does everyone have a BD player already? I still buy DVDs, the only BDs I get are for some action flicks, animations and visual effects-heavy titles.

But I have to admit, it's the special features I'm also after. If a title has better special features to watch on BD than DVD, I go for the BD no matter what the kind of movie  :-\

I don't have BD player yet, i'm still in the DVD world pero so far satisfied pa naman ako. It's been a while since I bought DVDs. Kudos to the folks who updates this thread once in a while i'm sure marami pa rin tumitingin ng mga bagong DVD titles  :)

Sad... Many users are not updating this thread anymore, despite the fact there are so many DVDs coming out. Even the R3 thread isn't even updated, but I'm going to update it once THE AVENGERS is been released.

I don't think this is available at all Astrovision/Plus.  Siguro sa mga branches na maraming Bluray lang.  Of the three I'd been to, only one had it (no longer, since I bought it :) )

It's UK import yata (with the European classification) , Region free.  Slipcase, Digibook.  Bonus Printed Items include a nicely illustrated 14 page glossy insert booklet with an introduction by Pixar's John Lasseter, senitypes featuring the animated Beatles. (last line copied from Bluray.com -baka kasuhan ako ng plagiarism).

I haven't watched the film until now.  Buti na lang hindi ako epileptic ...

I also saw some old New Line Cinema dvds were released by Studio World (The Wedding Singer, Rush Hour 1 and 3). I presume these dvds are imported.

The Inbetweeners Movie

This is the WEIRDEST R3 DVD I ever purchased! I bought this for completion, since I own the three seasons of the UK series on original DVD, so I figured for 175, this wrap-up movie purchase would be no big deal.

The deleted scenes/gag reel are anamorphic widescreen, with pristine picture quality. The actual movie, though, is fullscreen non-anamorphic letterbox with VCD quality!

Mula pa noon hanggang ngayon... if it's from VIVA, you know what to expect.  :o
