If the privatization of RPN-9 and IBC-13 materializes, I'm hoping for the emergence of wider array of program choices.
As these networks could change audiences' viewing habits, I am also calling for the preservation and restoration of media content stored on these networks' vaults.

Sana matuloy to para may alternative naman ang mga Pilipino sa bulok na programming ng mga top networks. Tsaka sana may mga reruns ng Buddy en Sol, Champoy, etc. ;D
-
it's about time... but, looks like the same top 3 owners rin ang kukuha sa kanila... well better than government's hands...
-
The tv shows of channel 9 are well-kept and they started digitizing them. They are in very good condition.
Im hoping also for re-runs of their old tv shows.

Go macgyver and perfect strangers!

PWEDE,..!
Its about time,...

I am not for reruns, to be honest. Or the 2 channels copying programming from abs, gma or abc, for that matter.
I'd like to see innovation, for once.
-
I am also hoping that there are still extant copies of old Pinoy movies in these networks' vaults.
Better yet, these copies must be turned over to someone or an entity that is serious enough about archiving.

Most of the umatic tapes were already turned over to the Society of Film Archivists.

much better programming and more live sports broadcasts =)

News Watch with Harry!!! ;D

I remember Channel 13 re-airing classic episodes of "T.O.D.A.S." I personally wouldn't mind seeing their other oldies like "Pubhouse" (where Cherry Pie Picache had her start, co-starring Dang Cecilio) and "Eh Kasi Babae" - back when Pinoy humor did not rely so much on sight gags and schoolyard-veriety insults to elicit laughter from viewers.
P.S. Yes, I am old ;D

I'm very glad about this development.
