I wasn't able to catch last year's edition so I'm definitely dropping by this weekend. :D

Passed by today. awesome. Personal favourite is the pure sound by mr jack duavit.

my favorites, the harbeth and proac rooms for music. For movies, focal, MK, goldenear

I was impressed by the audio set-up of Focal! Incredibly natural sounding music like there was a band playing and singing in front of you. The Dynaudio room also sounded good. Finally the MK demo room sounded good compared to last year when everything sounded bad. :)
I also saw a secret Rotel DAC that's not yet for sale in the market (will soon be) courtesy of MLY Enterprises. :D

The Focals are really on a different level!
Literally! As in they're in the boardrooms on the second floor while the others are on the fourth. Hehe
Even with the large rooms the sound filled the room as if the musicians were right in front of you.
Other setups of note that i heard were the cayin-xavian, proacs, goldenears, rega, etc.

Heard the Pure Sound set up at full tilt....very very impressive.
The mega buck systems lived up to their impressive standards but one very reachable speaker that impressed me the most was the KEF R300 driven by a 500 watt Musical Fidelity Integrated amp. Take note...it's a 3 driver set up shoehorned in a bookshelf and it sounded like a true blue floorstander. The scale of its presentation was astounding. The grip that the 500 watt amp had on the speakers was absolute. spent the most time there in that room listening to the system belt out orchestra, jazz, big band etc.
If I can't afford a Dynaudio Special 25 for the next couple of years then the KEF R300 can certainly satisfy my craving for a price that is around 75% cheaper than the special 25.
Another room that made me sit down and stay for a while was the 803D with Classe electronics by Toyama. Given the fact that it is a small room the big 803's didn't sound boomy at all. It sounded just right and of course that all too familiar Nautilus signature sound made me feel at home.
Ferdie's system this year was Boulder electronics coupled with Harbeth and REL and once again it was set up and tuned just right. You would think that the REL was not even turned on and yet the sub bass system belted out just the right amount of reinforcement to the glorious Harbeth signature sound.
There are also mega buck set ups there that didn't sound like a mega buck system....it was underwhelming to say the least. Dami din set up na Hot ang setting sa bass (HT).

My personal favorites are Martin Logans, xavian driven by cayin tubes,Daedalus (hope I got the spelling right) driven by bob carver amps,mk room for video,of course those mighty focals driven by equally impressive vtl pre and power amps! Special thanks to sir Wilfred,Hansen and of course Luke Manley for accommodating my special request ;) last but certainly not the least room of audioworld,proacs d2 driven by audio analogue class A amp,heard taoke Kelvin spent hours on the placements of the speakers,it only proves that inches make a world of difference,congrats! Pa lucky tea naman kayo! ;D

been there also.
I was impressed with the golden ear tritron 2 for movies.. ganda ng bass reproduction without using subwoofer of course..
also the focal is very impressive with both movies with its victoria secret fasion show.. :) and audio setup.
also heard sir antony's omega masterpiece.. very impressive for audio.. :)..nice meeting you master antony.. very nice and down to earth person.
saw some faces of our fellow brothers like sir jim, it think saw also sir billabong and master louie.. hehe. nahihiya lang ako kausapin.. haha. :)

I enjoyed naman yung MK Room....Ganda talaga for HT :)...and yung Room 450 na kasing laki ng Coke Litro yung tubo hehehe na naka Von Schweikert Speakers!

I love the sonus setup, bagay na bagay sa songs ni hugh masekela. I stayed there for a while, minsan lang ako makadinig ng music produced by a 3M pesos setup hehehe

was with two experts earlier... Cal and Joeygs. very knowledgeable kaya yun nakulam nanaman ako... found wyred4sound dac2 earlier and thinking of starting another diet... don't get me wrong I love weiss, Revelation or the one in Harbeth's room, kaya lang mas possibleng maabot ko to... :P

This should be the best Hifi show from the previous years.
- there was a lot of people even in the afternoon of Sunday. Exhibit hours should be extended to 8pm
- quite a number of exhibitors took effort in treating their rooms which allowed us to really evaluate their system.
- DIYers and local products were given the opportunity to show that local products have their place in the audiophile scene.
- the organizers got the president to visit the show
I however missed the headphiles group!

Attended some of the shows in the past and also this yr's. sana may commemorative stickers man lang, pede ikabit sa kotse or what and also to promote for the succeeding shows. i dont know kung meron before but I have yet to see until now. baka masyadong mahal magpagawa and ipamigay lang, ::)
