A Movie Musical featuring the songs of Jim Paredes, Boboy Garrovillo and Danny Javier
Description
This year, a tribute to the enduring songs of Jim Paredes, Boboy Garovillo and Danny Javier, is in the works—a romantic-comedy musical movie, “I Do Bidoo, Bidoo”, written and directed by hitmaker Chris Martinez, starring Gary Valenciano, ZsaZsaPadilla, Ogie Alcasid and Eugene Domingo, with Sam Concepcion and Tippy Dos Santos. It is set for release in Metro Manila and nationwide mid-2012, immediately followed with screenings in the U.S. and worldwide.
Produced by Unitel Productions and a dream project of Tony Gloria, whose past projects include box-office hit and critically acclaimed “Crying Ladies”, this event movie is a celebration of Filipino life and music.

Hmmm, anyone watched this already? Feedback?
I love Apo songs, but I'm no fan of any of the stars here. Wonder if it's worth watching?
-
I enjoyed it as an Apo tribute, and it's well shot. Vocal performances are mostly top-notch except for the best friend guy who was completely out of tune the whole time.
It's corny, but will make you smile if you're an Apo fan.

The film is very good. The APO songs are intelligently woven into the cohesive screenplay and were given new arrangement that befits a musicale. The film offers no new story but it strongly reinforces the filipino values of integrity, dignity, maturity, responsibility, honestly, and love. The comedic moments are also well thought off. Chris Martinez is an excellent writer and director. He has done a string of good movies like 100 which starred Mylene Dizon to the iconicv Here Comes The Bride. Note that he has also written the comedy Bridal Shower. You will be absorbed in every scene of the movie because of its good execution. I woudn't mind watching it all over again aas musicales are a rarity in Philippine Cinema.Kudos to I Doo Bidoo Bidoo.

Not that big a fan of apo but i loved it. Mas tagos sa puso ang musical pag pilipino ang mga kanta. Ending was rushed and all but it's fine. The only thing i didn't like was how the songs' tunes were changed to make them new. It made them hard to sing along to.

10 is the highest, its a 6.

Also saw this yesterday at Astro, but I find the DVD price still expensive at P600.

Kakabakabaka ba? is available on DVD in Kabayan Central. A bit pricey though:
