Sir Elmer I've been eyeing on the 3010 if I go thru the 3d route. Kahit na walang lens shift pareho sila ng current pj ko na yung lens ay nasa center. My only problem I think is to add an extender tube sa mount ko if 3010 ang kunin ko kasi mataas ang ceiling ko. How much ang cheapest 3d glasses na compatible with it?

Why not get a 1080p 3D PJ gaano ka kalayo sa position mo when watching movies?
Btw i hooked up my xtreamer mk1(1st gen) to my pana42st30 and loaded it with 3d material, and kaya niyang magenerate ng 3d. The only problem is I have to disable the subtitle kasi it becomes too big and distracting kasi dumodoble.
Is the 3D movie a SBS or real 3D bluray? Sa real 3D bluray iso kasi hindi ganun kalaki yung subtitle in my PJ with 110+ screen 9-10ft ang viewing distance. Sabi nga the bigger the better lalo na pag 3D movies na in bluray. Sa PJ ko lang lalo na appreciate ang real 1080p not the encode one. ;D ;D;D ;D

Bro Elmer roughly around 9 feet cguro ang viewing distance. I tried the 42ST30 last night, ang ganda ng 2D and 3D effects. Ang 3010 ba comparable na ang 2D effects niya sa mga plasma? So far more of 2D ang naappreciate ko. Sarap siguro ng 65inches na plasma para pwede nang pang cableviewing pero ang mahal pa ng presyo. I tried the SBS material lang with the xtreamer. I'll try to use the A-210 tonight if there's a change with the subtitle. I'll try to get pics na rin.
You appreciate ang 3D/2D sa 42 mas maapreciate mo siya with PJ and bigger screen. For me brader yah comparable ang Epson PJ ko sa plasma. Ganda ng 2D and 3D effect ng Pj ko. masarap PJ jan brader lalo na 92 inch or 110 sa 9ft panalo yan ako kasi 9ft+ kasi tapat ko ung surround panalong panalo. mas mappreciate mo ang real 3D bluray disk or iso sa 3D viewing mas magand ang 3D effect niya brader. kay mag 3D PJ ka na. ;D ;D ;D

Sana nga brader mukhang 1080p 3d pj is the way to go, waiting mode muna, waiting for the right time. Mukhang 3010 na ang nasa sights ko unless may darating na iba.
Go go na brader di na pinag iisipan yan panalo yan lalo na Bluray 3D play either iso or disk. ;D ;D

Post mo naman impressions mo sa SF for HT :)Bro Ferns, I'm still in the process of recalibrating and repositioning the speakers because its a mix of Sf for fronts and NHT for front wides, heights and surrounds and so far they integrate well. The Sf gives great dialogue amplification and widened the soundstage as well. I also have tried the sonus faber toy center at masasabi ko lang "animal" din siya for dialogue amplification for small rooms.

Aside from being able to venture into 4k realm, I want a pj that can project a 120 inch viewing size from and 11 feet 4 inch distance. My JVC can only do around 109-112. Last night I tried to set it up, and the out of the box settings are BAD! Sabi ko sarili, mukhang di ako makakatulog sa settings na ito hehe! Light portions of the movie were awesome with a lot of details but the darker/night portions had a tinge of blue green hue. Had to reset the settings because I can't change the brightness mode from bright to eco. After that I decreased the brightness and contrast to get better blacks. Lastly I turned on the dynamic black. Those changes thoroughly changed the blacks from bad to very good. IMO it may not touch the JVCs blacks but its blacks are very good.
I think none so far can touch the JVC when it comes to contrast/ black levels.

was the UHD50 your first choice in the 4K arena? since Benq & Epson or others also have 4K XPR.
i'm thinking to jump 4K too BUT will wait a little bit when I have a permanent setup, for now the xgimi CC & Z6 will do ;D

Very nice setup sir comet, btw the glass windows on the left side of the room did'nt caused any rattling issues? how did you treat the windows?Thanks Sir Kefq, I placed a large sliding door to cover the window. I placed 2 inches of fiberglass and polyester panel. So far no issues sir. I used a sliding door so I can still use the window and put in fresh air into the room.

modified the cabinets for these 8inch AN drivers from open baffle to bass reflex downfiring. I’ll add these as front wide or front height when my other 7010 arrives.
