Title: DTS MA, Dolby True HD Questions

Hi Gurus,

Newbie in HT world here.

My current setup is just 2.0 and I'm using an HTPC.

My question is:

Is it possible na lumabas sa AVR yung DTS MA or Dolby Trued HD even though 2.0 lang setup ko?

I have mkv movies sa HTPC ko na meron DTS MA, once I play di lumalabas or nadedetect ng AVR ko that I'm playing files with DTS MA.

yes,but you need hdmi connection going to your receiver from your htpc

Yes po naka HDMI both.

Pero ayaw lumabas, how come?

I might be doing it wrong?

Any tips?

anu vc mo? pati yung software player dapat supported din ang passthrough ng hd audio.

1gb GT630 sir, I'm using Splash Pro and VLC player po.

I just selected HDMI bitstream on splash pro, and voila!

DTS HD MA!

Now I just need to figure out how to do the same on VLC :)

ayus. for me splash pro is better than vlc pero i personally use mpc-hc.

iirc vlc dont support hd audio until now.

i know kaya ng vcl pero kaklikutin mo pa yung codecs.
quite hassle though.
