One time ko lang natest atty to see if they are working properly, then put it in the box again. Still renovating my room kya nakatabi lahat ng harwares. Yung 1200 lang saka rs1/lux int amp lang nakasetup. Hindi ako nakapunta dun sa rum ng mk speakers, busy with TAS angels ;D ;D ;D

I don't have experience with Onkyo but I use the VDH IC from Rex of Watts Hi Fi. Its 4 meters long kasi nakahiwalay preamp ko.

I am planning to power my B&W CDM 1NT (pair 120 w/ch) and CDM CNT (120 w/ch) with Emotiva amp. Should I buy the 3 channel XPA-3 or the five channel XPA-5? Wala ba problem using XPA-5 if I only use 3 channels (2 front and 1 center) now, wala pa surround speakers eh. Lastly, di ba masisira mga B&W speakers ko 120 w per channel lang compared sa rating ng emotiva amp na 200 w per channel? Thanks!

what speakers do you plan to hook up the amp? their power ratings are not equal..30w@4ohms while emo is [email protected] think it is best to audition the nuforce since it is avail locally so you may gauge if what you really need is the emo amp

Pag di kinaya ng budget ko plinius up to year-end, malamang emotiva XPR-5 amp ako to power my 300 watts rms dynes contour 3.3 using Marantz pre/pro. Overkill kaya XPR-5, madami bad reviews sa XPR-5 dahil bago unlike XPA-5 sobra ganda ng reviews. What do you think guys just in case, XPR-5 (US $ 1,699) or XPA-5 (US $ 809)? Justified ba additional US $ 890 for XPR-5?

I have the xpa3 with a Yamaha 663. As long as you avr has pre-outs pwede.

the XPA3 would work with your yamaha receiver provided that it has multi-channel pre-outs. I don't think your Wharfedale 9.1 speakers can handle the output from the XPA3 though. the 9.1's are only rated for 20-100W. the XPA3 gives out 200W at 8ohms!

We feel the same as you do. Sales just make everyone sit on the fence until the next one, and they guys that didn't purchase at the sale price resent us.
So, be aware that this change of policy is coming. Our prices are already so reasonable, there is really no need for a sale. We will, of course, be keeping our Upgrade For Life program, but other then that, we will not offer price reductions as a matter of course.

sir, best u get an xpa5 para five channel amplification na. and myt wanna try the preamp of emotiva also kesa mag upgrade ka ng 7series o 8series na onkyo just for the preouts.

Sirs, while most of Emotiva users here used this power amp for HT application, but how does the Emo perform for pure audio? Im planning to get either the UPA-200 or the XPA-200 for zone 2 (music only) using the Onkyo AVR as zone2 pre-amp. Im more than satisfied with the Onkyo 7 series for HT but kinda bitin sa music (FLAC). Your kind thoughts is highly appreciated Sirs.

Im planning to get either the UPA-200 or the XPA-200 for zone 2 (music only) using the Onkyo AVR as zone2 pre-amp. Im more than satisfied with the Onkyo 7 series for HT but kinda bitin sa music (FLAC). Your kind thoughts is highly appreciated Sirs.
The amp is great for two channel listening sir..the amps of emotiva are fairly neutral so the sound flavor will depend most on your speakers..you may search the net for reviews on the amp you want to buy

As with emotiva gear its value for money . its detailed , a bit forward sounding particularly when paired with emotiva amplification. It's a good match with my Maggie's

^ when I had the XDA-2, I used it as a DAC/Pre and to me I think it is pretty neutral, and detailed, it's a nice piece of gear especially if you have multiple digital sources..

highly recommended! busog ang GoldenEar Aon 3 ko dito! ;D if you have low impedance or low sensitivity speakers, they'll be no problem to drive with the XPA-100. ;)

I have been using integrated amps before from NAD, Luxman, Pioneer, Onkyo, Adcom, Cyrus, etc. and decided to try Emotiva BasX PT-100 and Proceed BPA3 combination. All I can say is wow! Separation, texture, highs, mids, and low are beautifully balance. I don't know if it's the basX or the Proceed that has been doing the magic or their synergy, but I'm pretty much satisfied. The built-in DAC is at par, if not better than my SMSL M8. But what I really liked about this combo is the soundstage. Something that I have not heard with the integrated amps that I have (yes, I still have them). The PT-100's bluetooth (you have to buy separately) is also an added bonus for convenience. The only thing I have been missing is the convenience of connections with integrated amps and, of course, lesser gizmos to turn on.
I have yet to own an Emotiva power amp, but I am looking forward to having one.....
