Just wanna create a thread for a very great amp,great sound quality and best of all very affordable baby g owners.
Just wanna share it to you guys that I've already brought the Baby G to several stores and already auditioned it to dozens of speakers and the 1st thing I notice from the store employee and owners is that they look very hesitant that it can drive their speakers well judging by the looks of baby g it looks kinda cheap compared to the amps their using there in the store.
But but but..... after hearing them well guess whats their reaction?A sign of joy and even asking me if its a tube amp.and the rest is history........
I you want quality amplifier that won't break the bank,Doesn't care for the looks and not so mainipin usually 2 months of waiting then this amplifier is for you.It could easily demolished up to range of 50k price of amps
Thank you Mr. Nathaniel Dijamco for giving me the chance for owning such a great work of yours.
Please share your setup and the speakers being driven by these precious amp.

Once makuha mo ang ka match na speakers ng Baby G for your ears I'm sure you won't be needing your tube amp anymore bro.My speakers are running 24 hours a day without being very hot.Super tipid pa sa kuryente.
And best of all I don't even have to change the tubes from time to time because integrated amp are known for sturdiness.antayin kita bumalik sa integrated bro

For me Baby G is very neutral so kung bright ang speakers mo bright din ang lalabas na sound.If your speakers are laidback e laidback din ang sound niya.It depends on your preference

Ahhh...isa lang kasi speakers ko and no other speaker to test it with. Seems like sir jojo's signature sa amps ay neutral. Which is what i want.

ok po naman sa pandinig ko. di siya nakakapagod pakinggan.
medyo mataas nga lang dapat yung volume (near 12 o clock), di ko sure kung dahil sa sensitivity ng speakers or kung dahil sa source. ipod gamit kong source sa ngayon.
newbie lang po sa audio kaya hirap po ako mag describe.

FYI, the volume control of integrated models of the Baby G follows the logarithmic graph so you'll need to turn up the volume a bit. This is particularly useful for example, when I listen at night or early morning, hindi bigla bigla yun volume control, you can trim it perfectly to your listening level na hindi makakaistorbo sa mga kasama sa bahay.
Also, turning the knob at 12 o'clock does not mean you are already using 50% of the power, don't be afraid to go past 1 o'clock or just enough to attain your preferred listening levels.

bitrates has nothing to do why some tracks sound in different volume level.

i have no choice but to compress to mp3 for now. when the pc setup is complete, i plan to use flac.
the speaker is ok i think , the characteristics of internal dac of the dvd player might no match the system well. ok naman tunog pag ipod yung source.

Have just passed the 25 hours burn-in period and the lows are now tighter and mids are now more forward unlike the first time nung sinalpak ko sa speakers ko yung baby g, recessed konti mids nun. Instrument separation improved, clarity went up as well.

Yes sir. Nung una ko talagang kinabit sa speakers ko, sabi ko sa sarili ko, "$#!t, bakit ganun? It can't be just this." Then hinayaan ko muna magsettle ng maayos mga internals nya through burn-in. Nearing the 28 hours as of now. I'm loving this amp more and more.

Anong klaseng amp yung baby G is it pure solid state or tube amp or hybrid? Is it made in the Philippines? Naghahanap din ako ng pre/power amp para sa speaker ko Celestion SL12si hindi kasi ma i drive ng maganda pag ordinary integrated amp lang kulang sa bass? Many thanx for the response if any.

Classified as solid state po siya. Yes it's proudly made by me here in the Philippines. You can pair a Baby G power amp with a tube preamp like the Baby T for a hybrid setup too.

Ayan nagsalita na po ang master.You won't regret this amp it sounds like 100k price range amp.If the sound doesn't sound good for you then I'll recommend that you check your speaker first hehe baka hindi sila match nung baby G.

Generally, anong klaseng speaker ang binabagayan ng Baby G? Neutral and/or bright sounding speakers?

Baby G for me is a neutral amp. I like to pair it with a neutral speaker. I this way I would be able to hear the character of my preamp and/or source.
In the end matching is a personal preference. Some like it bright, some like it bassy, some like it wirh emphasis on the mids and some like it neutral.

My DJing setup is a laptop + Numark Mixtrack Pro -> Baby G (Integrated Version) -> Wharf 9.1
I've been using setup on a 4 x 3 meter room and so far napapaindak naman ako. ;D

Torture tests for those is 24 hours sir, continuous. ;D Average cost for a 24/7 rig (ipod source) is less than 35 Pesos as per July Meralco billing, normal listening volumes only. Meron kasi ako dito separate Meralco meter na walang nakakabit. ;D

^di ko lang sure sir kung may nagawa na na may headphone socket, pero nung nagpagawa ako kay Master JojoD ng Baby G at tinanong ko siya kung pwede lagyan ng nito, advice niya is better kung walang headphone out para focused talaga sa magandang sound quality at mas maging efficient yung amp.

Ang mga nagamit ko na tube preamp sa babyG power amp ay ang babyT ni sir jojo, pati ang aikido preamp ni sir tony. Both preamps worked well with the babyG.

Int amp has builtin preamp and has vol control. Power amp needs a separate preamp.

Built 4 of the angeline ed last week with the hopes of having stock for audition, however, 3 out of the 4 are already owned and the last one is on standby. Where in cainta are you located sir?

thanks for the info sir.. which means if i have an integrated amp, its sort of a plug and play type that when i connect speakers and player to it, it would be good to go.. how much is your integrated amp sir.. thanks..

Indeed it is, and you can play and have good music all day long without worrying about your Meralco bill. PM sent.

Boss Jojo, musta na? Nag repair pa rin ba kayo ng Baby G? Tagal ko kasing Di na gamit Ang setup ko then last night found out na both my Baby G and Denon amp walang sound output. Nag simple connect and disconnect isolation na ako mukhang sira parehas. So pag naka connect Ang baby T may low level sound and speaker and working Ang volume control. Di lang talaga lumakas ang sound. Mukhang nasira ng bunso ko kasi madalas siya maglaro sa TV rack and laging nasasagi yung denon and baby g.
