Yeah, definitely add Architectural Audio at New World Hotel on your list of great audio shops!
They have a wide range of JBL's, Infinity's, and H/K's that you can audition to your heart's (or rather, ears') desire. I just went there and listened to some of their JBL's and chatted with them about everything audio for HOURS!! The staff consists of people who share the same hobby as us on this forum, and whom anyone interested in audio can share ideas with. Plus, they're very accomodating pa!

i was cruising roosevelt avenue from delmonte to edsa when i saw, to my surprise, this AVESCO branch (Frisco).
i was supposed to visit avesco in cubao but didnt have any time.
well, i went in and this guy Alex entertained me. he's a very nice guy. i inquired for an AKG K55 headphones and eventually got one. it was priced at 1340 more or less and i asked for a discount - he gave me 10% so it landed at P1,250 which he said can go down to 1200.
i also explained that a member here in pinoydvd.com (well, he dont know pinoydvd yet) bought it at 900+ in avesco cubao and that akg and avesco are well recommended. - so he gave an additional discount and my AKG-K55 was priced at P1,057.00. real lucky no?
so i bought it, and i highly recommend AKG-K55 headphones, AVESCO and Mr. Alex Umali.
im using it right now, and it rocks!

ross, I think you're referring to Audio World. The address would be #749 Banawe St. but actually the store is situated on a street perpendicular to Banawe. If you're coming from Ortigas, you can drive along EDSA and turn left to Quezon Ave. then proceed to Banawe and turn right upon reaching McDo. You will then take it from there..... or better yet, you can call #732-7716 and look for Elmo or Joey..... a couple of nice guys....
