When street hustler Sarah Manning witnesses the suicide of a woman who looks exactly like her, she assumes her identity and is thrust into one mystery after another, as she encounters other women who resemble her, and discovers that they are all clones--but who is responsible? And why are they being hunted?
Started watching this new BBC America series with a mostly Canadian cast--it's got an interesting premise, and the plot unfolds rather well over the succeeding episodes. My only gripe is the main character's gay foster brother, who looks like that annoying Vice Ganda...but it's a minor gripe; Felix is actually funny.
Orphan Black premiered on BBC America last March 30, 2013 and will run for 10 episodes, with the finale scheduled to air on June 1, 2013. The series has been renewed for a second season of 10 episodes that will resume in 2014.

It's already halfway into the first season.
Looks can be deceiving, except to little girls. ;)
Or are they clones? ;D
-
watching this also...pang-sunday schedule ko ;D
-
I like this. She looks like Alyssa Milano.
-
Episode 6 is out.

Ang galing nung buntot! He he!

Finally finished the entire first season earlier. Ang galing ni Tatiana Maslany. It didn't seem like one actress played them all. I found myself liking Helena the most. She was creepy and funny. Too bad they killed her in the finale.
2014 is going to be a long wait for season 2.

Great show, great cast--Tatiana Maslany's Emmy snub was extremely disappointing; I can truly say that she was robbed. >:(

-
I'm just starting with this show and watched Season 1 Episode 1 last night. Pretty good!
-
^ It gets much much better! Last part of Season 1 is ace, and Season 2 has been much better than Season 1 so far.
-
Kapag hindi nanalo si Tats ng Emmy magwawala ako! :D

The season 2 finale was insane--and created even more questions for next season. But it was awesome though.
Clone dance party! (https://s.yimg.com/lq/i/mesg/emoticons7/69.gif)
...and congrats to Tatiana Maslany for winning Best Actress in a Drama Series at the 2014 Critics Choice Awards last June 19:

Dami pwede i-clone yung psycho pa ang pinili! Nasan si Tony para kumpleto sana.
-
I thought that finale was really great!
The reveal of Project Castor (and especially who the test subject is) is an incredible twist that gives them a lot to work with for next season (on top of the lots of things that they already have thanks to that montage of ending sequences), yeah.
other thoughts:
I liked that we saw Cal again. More Cal, less Paul.
Sort of odd that there wasn't any mention of Tony again. I wonder how they'll write him back into the story next season.
Still confused as to where Mrs. S's loyalties lie, what the full extent is of what she knows and what her motivations are for doing what she does.
More Donnie next season please.
Why did Helena leave that container of liquid nitrogen in Felix's apartment? Poor Helena though, always getting dragged off to wherever. Saddest character on the show.
Ang galing!

The dancing scene was purely to show off editing skillz. :P

Kapag hindi nanalo si Tats ng Emmy magwawala ako! :D
And here we were talking about Tatiana Maslany bagging the Emmy's... She was not even nominated.. Tsk Tsk Tsk... for the 2nd straight year she was again bypassed and unseen by the academy... >:( :o

Just recently learned about this, but this got me still pretty stoked for this series. ORPHAN BLACK comes to the comics universe in early 2015.

-
It took 3 seasons, but finally, Tatiana Maslany got her much-deserved Emmy nomination for Best Actress in a Drama Series. 8)
-
just watched the first two episodes of the 4th season, and they marked a return to the series' roots, which was great ... it's good to see that they're ditching that Castor clone nonsense from last season.

Orphan Black has been renewed for a final 5th season.

Tatiana Maslany wins Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series -- a well-deserved win!

Last two episodes have been great, turning up the suspense with major plotlines resolved--including many character deaths--leading to the final episode and series finale this August 12.

Not sure about this season, to be honest. I'm only watching this because the missus likes it. I think, for me, it jumped the shark last season with Rachel Duncan coming back.
