Greetings! The year’s most prestigious Hifi/Vidfi event is celebrating its 10th anniversary and we are honored to have you be part of this year’s show. This year’s details are as follows:
Event: November HiFi Show 2013
Show dates: Nov 9 & 10 (10am to 6pm)
Dealer’s Ingress: Nov 8 at 4pm
Venue: 2nd and 4th floor, Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City
*Entrance is FREE
Exhibition room rates are as follow;
Standard Show 25 sqm PHP 35,000.00 PHP 44,000.00(after Aug 15)
Suite Show Room 35 sqm PHP 45,000.00 PHP 57,000.00(after Aug 15)
Function room 1 80 sqm PHP 85,000.00 PHP 107,000.00(after Aug 15)
Function room 2 109 sqm PHP 135,000.00 PHP 170,000.00(after Aug 15)
Function room 3 95 sqm PHP 115,000.00 PHP 144,000.00(After Aug 15)
Function room 4 95 sqm PHP 115,000.00 PHP 144,000.00(after Aug 15)
There shall be a limited number of slots for participants to avail of an early ingress on Nov 8 (estimated start time: 2pm). These slots will be allotted to early bird participants on a first to pay in full, first allotted basis. I shall inform the fortunate participants a week before the show.
The 4th floor shall be divided into 3 sectors;
1. Pure Audio Products
2. Home Theatre Products
3. Software (LPs, CDs, DVDs, Blueray Discs and other mediums)
Early participants will be given priority to choose their location/room number from among the available rooms in a particular sector. We shall email you the room choices once the sectors have been partitioned.
We will only accept a room reservation once 50% of the room cost has been paid. Full payment must be paid prior to ingress date (before Nov 8, 2013)
The November HiFi Show differentiates itself from other electronic events by providing each participant with a self contained demonstration rooms within the confines of a 5-star luxury hotel. Went from room to room at the 4th floor except the HT rooms...for me the Top 3 best set-ups are:
1) Magico Set-Up w/ Hegel c/o Architectural Audio
2) Puresound
3) Room 445 (JV Audio Concepts) w/ 1.5wpc and 3wpc tube amplifiers

Attended the Fremer workshop but had no time to visit the 4th floor yet. How about the Tannoy setup Jen? Lin Gomez was very impressed by it.

for me, the show standouts are:

Dynaudio (the one in louie's pic, I don't know the model)
Tannoy
Eventus Phobos (Wholesound)
JVC's 4K projector

I kinda liked the Devialet. Am wondering how it would sound driving my Zen Radials.

suprisingly for a small speaker the q acoustics driven by a nad sounded big. I really liked the room of eric lim specially when he played the reel as source wow

for me the Top 2 set-ups are:
a) Puresound
b) LIS - but when I went Pre-amp was the Mcintosh. Jon said he was shifting to AR

Best sound was the Focal-Krell setup of AVDI at the 2nd floor. Probably the most expensive by far but it sounded as I imagined a super system should. Natural voice and dynamics that stun, people just laughed and shook their heads with delight.
Too bad I didn't get to hear the Puresound room but AA's Magico-Hegel was runner up for me. The Tannoy's were very good as well. Wasn't impressed by the Dynaudios at LIS. At the time they weren't using the D'Agostino amps, maybe that's why.

I was surprised how big Concept 20 of Q acoustics sounded. I thought there was a small active subs somewhere in the room.

I was only there for a short time... couldn't really stay long as my son was bored to death... hehehe.

Same here. Loved the Devialet. High WAF for its design. There are cheaper options naman. >:D

btw, no offense to DJ's out there, but I didn't like the DJ rooms in the HiFi show. all I heard from them was distortion. >:( nasapawan pa yung mga katabing rooms.

It's my 1st time to attend this event yesterday and what I can't forget is the Proac Tablette Anniv. by Audioworld. The soundstage and imaging of this small killer is so big.

wasnt able to get a good deal for the JBL soundbar during the event. but was really happy to hear/audition high end equipments :)

QAcoustics with Velodyne sub (I liked how these small speakers sounded very impressive in terms of it's size)

This is where me and wifey stayed for the longest time listening to Norah Jones' tracks, very nice and relaxing. :)

Is this the one that is paired with the Utopia Scala ? Grabe to heart-thumping yung scenes ng Oblivion kaso nag shutdown yung system don't know what happened pero galing ng tunog.

OO grabe yan, isa sa mga gusto ko setup, may sinalang na puro drums nun Sunday. grabe yun lows as in halos same na same yun tunog ng bass drum sa live na bass drum. galing! also the best part ng room na ito, nun Sat around 4pm, yun swimming pool na may tatlong nka 2piece, legs kung legs... :)

I fully agree with the Focal-Krell and the Magico-Hegel. :) The Focal-Bryston from sometime ago is still my favorite though (was that 2009?).
