Yet another reimagining of Bram Stoker's Dracula... *yawn*
With all their flop shows, I guess NBC wants that Downton Abbey market really bad.

Cast includes Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jessica De Gouw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Katie McGrath, Nonso Anozie, Thomas Kretschmann

Dracula will air this Fall 2013 with a 10-episode order.

“We’ve made a number of alterations with regard to the classic Dracula. In our tale, Dracula and Van Helsing are actually partners. They’ve partnered up to fight a bigger bad, which is called The Order of the Dragon, a secret organization. This is an order of right-wing zealots who cursed Dracula and turned him into a vampire years ago. We flash forward to today to Victorian England where Dracula has assumed the alter ego of an American inventor by the name of Alexander Grayson. He has come to England to essentially avenge the fact that he was turned into a monster years ago.”

NBC's new series is the most recent incarnation of Dracula wherein the titular character is a sexy, brooding, tortured soul played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers ("The Tudors").

In the show, Dracula poses as an American entrepreneur named Alexander Grayson, who makes a splashy arrival in Victorian London. In a twist on the old story, he teams up with Van Helsing (Thomas Kretschmann) to battle an evil conglomerate called the Order of the Dragon.

"Dracula" premieres Friday, Oct. 25 at 10 p.m. on NBC.

there's sex, but not explicit, and any nudity will be kept minimal, since this is a show on NBC (free TV), not cable.
