Title: Annoying TV Shows

Saw this just now. Pawnstars in Filipino. doesn't have that appeal as the Original version?

Why not put a Filipino caption instead? para matuto rin tayong magbasa. Kung ang market nila ay yung mga di nakakakita at di nakakaintindi ng English, siguro di rin TV ang gagamitin nun kasi TV is more of a visual media device.

Sana may nakakabasa na producer dito ng mga shows na tinatranslate. GO Filipino captions instead, please. parang awa niyo na.

Apparently, the studio executives want to reach a broader set of audience (masa) so they had the popular movies and TV shows dubbed by local talents in Tagalog.

Parang ang logic is like watching a Japanese cartoon or Chinese movie na may English version.

Still I still go for the captions kasi this would teach us to be readers. Siguro kaya useless din traffic signs sa Pinas, kasi we are not a reading culture...or we did not get that habit to be readers. We can read the word, pronounce it, but dont understand it.

sige, ayos na rin kung gusto nilang isalin ang banyagang palabas sa sariling wika. ^-^. basta ba ayusin lang nila ang pagsasalin.

i'm sure meron silang natutulungan pero mas marami silang nakukunsinting mga workers or yung mga taong feeling eh naapi sila. pra silang chr.

Hanap buhay kasi nila yun police character nila. If they don't do those kind of stuff, baka walang manoud or magpatronize sa kanila.

A still prefer original Japanese audio with English subtitle when it comes to Anime.

Can you imagine Takamura Mamoru of Hajime No Ippo being voiced by a Filipino? Even their accents help convey the message which at times are relatively cultural.

this is so old and an obsolete story. can they not make any good shows anymore? got to believe medyo okay, hehe. tsaka legal wife. hahahaha
