This reimagining of the classic Washington Irving tale sees Ichabod Crane resurrected in the present-day Sleepy Hollow, but with his return also comes the Headless Horseman that he fought with 250 years ago. As the Horseman goes on a murderous rampage, Ichabod teams up with Detective Abbie Mills and together, they uncover a dark secret that stretches all the way to George Washington's time and his efforts to ward off the Apocalypse.
Cast includes Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones, Katia Winter, John Cho, Richard Cetrone, Clancy Brown

Looks interesting, and with a more plausible premise than the batsh!t-crazy storyline for NBC's Dracula. Since the creators were also responsible for Fringe, it'll probably have monster-of-the-week episodes within a larger mythology, but I just might catch this one.

Just saw the Pilot--it was highly enjoyable, and I couldn't help but see comparisons to another Kurtzman and Orci creation, Fringe: ;D
- strong female lead character (Abbie/Olivia Dunham)
- loony male partner to female lead (Ichabod/Walter Bishop)
- strong black male head of authority (Capt. Irving/Phillip Broyles)
- female lead's partner killed in Pilot episode (Sheriff Corbin/John Scott)

Episode 3 ("For the Triumph of Evil") is very "Fringe-eey"
Abbie and Ichabod going to the dreamworld is very reminiscence of Olivia goin into Walter's sensory depravation tank on Fringe pilot episode. :)
The archive basement is reference to Walter's laboratory in Harvard basement ;D
and they keep on saying "seven years of tribulation", it seems the writers is planning a seven season for the series. which they where initially plan also for fringe in the beginning. ;)
I think i'm gonna love this series... i miss fringe and been waiting for a new show like this... i think i found it. ;D ;D

Agree with the multiple references to the Fringe series. Have yet to see the 3rd episode.

Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, announced earlier today that Sleepy Hollow has been renewed for a second season.
"The show has proven to be a risk well worth taking – it’s a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television and it all holds together with inventive writing and a fantastic cast," said Reilly. "I can’t wait for fans to experience what else is in store for this fall and even more of this wild ride into Season Two."
Originally slated for a 13-episode run, the renewal adds another batch of 13 episodes for the 2014-2015 TV season. Sleepy Hollow ranks as Fox’s most successful fall drama premiere in over a decade, opening to 10 million viewers during its premiere, a number that blossomed to 13.6 million after three days of time-shifted viewing were accounted for. Sleepy Hollow has also retained a impressive number of its viewers since the show’s launch, even when faced with stiff broadcast competition that includes NBC’s The Voice.

It's a show about a headless horseman and a man resurrected after 2 centuries as well as a demon appearing in mirrors. Isama mo na yun sandman. And the one we refuse to believe is Crane not changing his clothes? Hahaha! ;D

This is good news...Noble is a fine addition to the show, and I also like Greenwood's character Jenny a lot, as she's more kick-ass than her sister.

Saw Evolution on cable before Sleepy Hollow premiered. Comedian ang pagkakakilala ko kay Orlando Jones. So I thought he would be the comic relief on the show. He actually played it straight the whole season. Nanibago ako. ;D

Timothy Busfield has been cast as Benjamin Franklin, who will be a recurring character for next season. Also, there are reports that additional episodes have been ordered, bringing the total to either 15 or 18.

Nalito ako sa 1st half ng season premiere, muntikan ko na ilipat ng channel dahil di ko ma-relate yung ibang scenes sa ending ng season1. Ang daming flashbacks ang flashforwards...will not post any spoiler here pero maganda ang start ng 2nd season... ;D

Just watched the season premiere; I really love how this show goes out of its way to become batsh!t insane, with bits of humor here and there--that fistbump in Purgatory was hilarious ;D

I was a huge fan of Season One, but this show lost me in its second season. I'm about 4 episodes behind, not sure I still want to catch up.

I still like it because it's insane, heh. And Ichabod's snippy remarks--now matched by Abbie's--are a hoot. Seriously though, this show has three of the strongest and empowered black characters on TV right now. But I think the increased episode order for this season hurt them in terms of pacing, as some episodes seem like padding for the more arc-centric storylines.

On October 29, a special two-part crossover will occur between Sleepy Hollow and Bones, starting with Bones at 8:00pm, in which the discovery of human remains lead Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) on a hunt for clues. During their search, they encounter Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) who are searching for answers of their own. Realizing that they are after the same evidence, the foursome team up to solve the mystery.
The story continues in Sleepy Hollow at 9:00pm, as Ichabod’s former nemesis is back from the dead, causing Abbie and him to require advanced forensic expertise to stop him, bringing in Brennan and Booth to unlock 18th century secrets using 21st century science.
Executive producer-showrunner Clifton Campbell says that "The creative freedom to merge these two worlds which, at face value, seem so different, but at their core have such striking similarities — mystery, intrigue and methodical deduction, wrapped up in such strong character partnerships — was a challenge that we all welcomed, and we believe that fans of both series will be very satisfied by the result. It was a terrific collaborative experience across the board, and we are eager to see the fan reaction to Ichabod and Abbie working alongside Brennan and Booth."
In addition, Bones exec producer Michael Peterson described the crossover as "Like a great episode of The X-Files where the Bones hour is the Scully, logic-based perspective and the Sleepy Hollow hour is more Fox Mulder-esque. Put them together, and it’s going to be a great two-hour event that fans of both programs are going to love."
