tama yan. alam mo naman dito sa pinas tinataga sobra yung presyo ng blu rays. haha even old movies na blu rays na di naman gaano kaganda around 1,000 to 1,500 pesos sa mall.

currently priced at $40 yung CE ng Man of Steel sa Amazon

From The Digital Bits >:(

So... irritation heads-up for Man of Steel fans: Both Target and Walmart have retail-exclusive disc-based content. In addition to Steelbook packaging, the Walmat BD version of the title has two exclusive featurettes - The Iconic Characters of Man of Steel (20 min) and The Sonic Landscape of Man of Steel (13 min). And Target's BD includes elaborate book packaging and - more importantly - 5 exclusive X-Ray Vision features (31 mins total) on the disc. Total disc-based content scattered as retail exclusives: 64 minutes. This on the heels of WHV doing the same with Pacific Rim. VERY anti-consumer and, judging the e-mails we're getting, it's pissing off a lot of BD enthusiasts.

^  They have been doing the "exclusive featurettes" thing with many recent blockbuster movies, not just Man of Steel. I can understand having exclusive packaging, but I agree that "exclusive featurettes" are quite annoying. If you love movie special features, you are now forced to buy an "exclusive edition" instead of the regular release. Seems the studios are milking the BD consumer every which way they can.  >:(

Does the locally-sold version of the MOS BD also include the "New Zealand: Home of Middle Earth" featurette from The Hobbit? Just found out that it's on the US release of the MOS BD, which is REALLY weird ???
