Title: 3D player dilema: Panasonic BDT-220 or Sony BDP-S4100 or any other suggestions
Post by: james16 on Nov 05, 2013 at 02:09 PM: I am trying to figure out if which would be a better purchase as my 3D blu-ray player, either last year's panasonic 3d blu-ray player (has high ratings according to the web) or the newer sony s4100 which has a fair rating (not as extensive compared to panasonic's). Both are similarly priced locally but availability with different stores.

Price range falls either 10k or below.

I'm both concern for into the PQ and AQ, also better 3D PQ, not so much into smart features. Hopefully you guys can give me an advise for this.

Other alternative brands that can suggested as well as long as falls into a similar price range.

Preferably locally purchase as I have no CC to buy online.

Between the two, I'd choose the Panasonic because it has been used and experienced by many and has very good reviews. Also newer model doesn't always mean better ;)

Post by: stilljey on Nov 06, 2013 at 10:46 PM: mag Pana Bdt220 ka na sir, maganda PQ nya, kahit sa AQ ganda rin pero syempre depende pa rin sa amp mong gamit. Pwede syang mag play ng flac and wav files, then pwede mo syang makontrol ng remote app using ipad, ito kasi gamit ko pag manonood ng bd.

Masyado limited ang choices, i swept glorietta and ansons, panay pioneer na may karaoke function lang ang meron. Sa mga specialty shops naman, oorderin pa muna. Sa datablitz naman, even asking dor ps3, walang stock.

Mukang madedelay ang pagbili ko nito.

If you have something for bt220, then why not go for pioneer bd-160?
