Title: dedicated blu-ray/dvd player vs gaming console as player

would it be wise not to get a blu-ray/dvd player if i plan in getting a ps4/xbox one since these gaming consoles are capable of playing blu-ray/dvd's?

or is there picture quality difference if i get a blu-ray/dvd player?

what are the advantages of getting a dedicated blu-ray/dvd player?
