Title: Kef Q300

Kef Q300 was the product of the year by Watt HiFi in 2011, any impressions from those who owns this speaker and those who have tried/auditioned them before?

Your prev 685 is somewhat better than that....

What I like on the q300 are two things - 1. has good dispersion and seems like it doesnt have a sweet spot, 2. Not picky in equipment partnering, tried them with tubes, solid state and even a t-amp and it sounds very well. I find the Q series a bit laid back and relaxed though, but if you prefer that, these speakers are perfect for you.

Bro Derrick, what is the character of the q300? other says that it goes deeper compared to 685 but not sure on mids and highs.

sir, thanks for your input. you think it will match well with an entry level onkyo avr, will it fare on dynamics?

I do think they will. The Q series shouldn't be hard to drive so your avr should accomplish that job easily.

i've got 1 hooked up on my yaqin mc10t and im impressed with it. boss kung may time ka try to auditioned ma silver 2 din pra skin mas mganda ma pero d nman nagka layo.
