Dear sirs,

noted Edwn. BTW have you tried to avail their service before? How was it? Worth it ba na gastusan ko pa yong Infinity SM-62 bookshelf speakers for about php 1k (pair)? Hope you don't find my question a silly one :) Di kasi ako sure kung tama ang gagawin ko na iparepair pa.

OK na P1000. Hindi naman spectacular ang speaker mo. I doubt it will sound different to you.
If it were a coveted speaker, I'd have second thoughts because it will be difficult to replicate factory sound.

I have tried speaker doctor and the service they provided to my Vintage infinity speakers was GREAT!

Ako din, i can vouch sa gawa niya. Nagpa-bawas ako ng coil ng SEAS Lotus reference tweeter ko kasi naputol. Maayos ang gawa niya.

Mukhang namamahalan ka sa 1k. If you can remove the woofers pwede mo dalhin sa Raon you'll spend 150 each siguro. Hanapin mo yung mukhang adik na matanda sa stall beside BDO, Sales St. May option ka pa to have it replaced with same type (foam) or the more durable rubber surrounds.

Wish me luck bro. Hehe. This is my last resort btw... Still, thanks to mark for suggesting this.

If surrounds lang, ok na yung mga tiga raon na repair sa kalye, basta wag mo lang pagagalaw yung dust cap, yung iba kasi tatangalin yung dust cap para ma centro.

as gino said your speakers are not spectacular, it doesn't even have a low pass crossover for the woofer and they sound too bright, for my ears at least. a so-so surround replacement is enough. lot of room for improvement though, some tinkering (new crossovers, braces, damping, etc) would make it sound significantly better.

refoaming without removing the dust cap will give a hit-or-miss alignment, but yes it can be done. kaso the raon guys can't do it, kaya yung apat na 8" infinity reference woofers ko ako na lang nag-refoam.

What I do is I glue the inner part of the surround and then connect the speaker sa amp and play bass tones while I glue the outer part, once wala ng sabit I close the amp and let the glue dry, I use Elmers glue
