This is very interesting topic

Just last year this was declared as a "Gift Set" but now... its a LIMITED SET and Out Of Production (OOP) already

Even at their homesite (Universal Studios) if you order this set .. its Discontinued >>> MonsterLegacy.Com (http://www.monsterlegacy.com/)

xage, Universal has discontinued this set because of complaints of loose discs and damaged busts. that explained the now limited status of the gift set. there was a time that amazon dropped its price and sold out in a matter of days.

Thanks for the added info guys.

On my end, after seeing this post and putting my comments... I have no intention whatsoever hunting it(due to its high price nowadays), however at an ironic twist about a week I guess when I went at Borders Bookstore where I was just getting  a book (carrying my %30 off coupon) then I saw this hidden at a shelf

Wham... on top of my book list target.. I got this %30 off its shelf price. Mint, brand new

Finally Found One! just this evening!
Accidentally when I visited Borders Store to buy Books..

At ebay and other sites... its either you would get it at $100++++ or at Used (a huge turn off) condition
