Title: Streaming Media Files on Chromecast
Post by: indie boi on Apr 28, 2014 at 07:51 AM
I asked a friend to buy me a Chromecast in the US. My plan is to use it to stream my HD files from my PC.

Does anyone know how I can do it?

You're gonna need to download apps  (Localcast, Avia or Allcast) to cast your videos.  I think you need to pay extra to cast videos.

try to drag and drop the movie file to your google chrome browser. some of my mkv and avi are supported then cast it to your tv screen.
