guys, is it posible that a built-in dac from a mechanically-defective cd player be taken out and transplant it into a:
1. working dacless player?
2. DACed-player as an additional dac?

guys, is it posible that a built-in dac from a mechanically-defective cd player be taken out and transplant it into a:
1. working dacless player?
2. DACed-player as an additional dac?
May gumagawa niyan. Pero may risk silang na-kwento na compatibility sa power etc. And despite a successful transplant, it won't guarantee a good music production because hindi lang naman DAC ang nagdadagdag ng color sa music. The parts after the DAC also have a significant effect on SQ. it's good to explore the possibilities pero if you're not really keen on electronics and DIY, it's best to leave it to the experts.

two problems sir, nag-eeject at sumasara automatically intermittently ang tray at matigas na fast forward button. nasubukan ko na sprayan ng contact cleaner, after some time bumabalik problem. pero okay naman playability cd and cdr, so lens is still good po.

It seems mechanical problem lang sir. Have you tried bringing it to a qualified repairman?

kung lens mechanism/optical pick ang may problem PM mo sa akin yung model ng CDP mo meron ako spare na lens mechanism dito baka pepwede diyan.

hi sir rochie, di yata lens mechanism ang problem sir. sumasara lang po yung tray kahit di pa pinipindot close button. nakakaipit ng cd. tapos yung fast forward button, napwersa ko yata.

Bro, kung sumasara kusa iyung CD tray baka kailangan lang malinisan iyung mga iba't ibang "buttons" ng CDP mo. Di ko maalaala iyung ginagamit ko pero paraang WD50 pero pang electronics lang siya. Nabili ko iyun sa ACE hardware.
Puwede mo rin palitan iyung goma sa may CDP tray. Baka maluwag na. Kusa ring lumalabas minsan kapag maluwag na iyung goma. Kapag binuksan mo CDP mo makikita mo iyung gomang ito (nasa ilalim mismo ng CDP tray. May mga sizes siya at nabibili mga replacement sa Deeco at iba pa. Alisin mo iyung gomang ito tapos pakita mo sa tindera para mahanapan niya ng parehas na sukat.
