Title: The Lourd De Veyra Thread
Post by: sirhc on May 28, 2014 at 05:03 PM
Hi all, I'm starting a thread about Lourd de Veyra and his shows. I loved his Word of the Lourd bit sometime back 2010 and again now with History with Lourd (Tsismis Noon, Kasaysayan Ngayon) though I've managed to watch a few episodes since it coincides with Prime Time giants (my wife's TV time ;)) and his work as a broadcast journalist in Aksyon.

anyone else share the same sentiments?

yeah, same here. his style of alternative journalism is very refreshing, entertaining and still highly-informative.  another classic was his interview of mike hanopol and pepe smith. awesome-awesome stuff!

I don't find Lourd annoying like Ramon "pugeh" Bautista. He has his own style. However, I hope he stops sort of clapping his hands when doing weather reports.

From Lourd De Vera

* Mas maganda ang peace and order situation noong Martial Law?
