i acquired a b&w cc3 several months ago from someone here in pdvd. unfortunately, i did not notice that the tweeter was not working until a week or two later. i haven't been using it because the sound from dialogues are very difficult to understand.
a friend is asking the local distributor for replacement parts and i'm still waiting for the reply.
question, are there other brands of tweeter i can use and are these things repairable? any other sources of original tweeters (new or slightly used) besides the distributor?
thanks!

any help will be appreciated.

Contact Speaker Doctor, search this forum for "Speaker Doctor"

original drivers for this model would be hard to find. Repair is your next best option. Speaker Doctor is the go to guy.

Sir, na kaka order nyan sa distributor,... :)
-
^_Yun oh very informative talaga si brader.... :D

thanks everyone for chiming in!
-
AFAIK, the authorized service center can order replacement part.
-
sino nga ba ang authorized dealer ng b&w?
-

Ewan ko lang kung sila pa rin:

Email B&W. It's a long shot but the may send you a replacement. At the very least, they can point you to a store which has it in stock.
Years back I emailed Boston about a broken speaker grill. They sent me replacements for free.
This week I wrote Rockwell tools a happy email about my project. They took my address because they want to send me a new saw blade for future projects.
