It seems that I hi-jacked the other thread, so I decided to make a specific thread with this projector.

Two weeks of journey for searching a cheap, but reasonably good image quality projector, I'll be getting this one soon, and already placed an order from Alibaba.

I've placed an order last Friday, so total of 6 days actually. Image? Heto pakita ko muna physical appearance ng Led 86 compared to my previous projector, which I paid twice or more, 4 years ago.

Conclusion: For the price, you will not be sorry with this one, but please.....DO NOT EXPECT MORE on this cheap projector.

yes and accidently na test ko yung durability ng led bulb nya nag ran cya for 8 hours straight no heat issue, na katulungan ko na kasi he he he.

Great! but don't forget the projector consumed 160W even that this is led, because of the higher power led lamp.
As I said, tested ko na rin ang durability ng LED projector, as I have my previous Led projector which last 4 years. Araw-araw ko cyang gamit na parang Tv. Eventually not the LED bulb ang bumigay, kung di ang power supply ng projector.

What's the largest image this can project without any loss in clarity of the picture?

I haven't tried it more than my 92" projector screen, on that size the image is crystal clear & bright enough to watch movies in a controlled environment. Maybe 120" is the max, this projector has a poor lens, so please do not expect more to a cheap Chinese led projector.

200usd = Php9,180.40 + 1,496.26 customs duties & taxes. = 10,676.66 Total damage ko.

Would you consider this projector in an uncontrolled environment where a big window is directly opposite the screen? Meron namang curtains pero Im just thinking if it would be bright enough even with some light seeping through the curtains?

AFAIK, even all the lights are on in the room, I can still see the image clearly. But
all front projectors need to be placed in a light controlled environment to achieve the good image quality, even with an high-end pj. This cheap projector is not bright enough with your situation. If that is the case, you must find first the solution on how to cover that big window. Can you not use the blinds? or you can also use the block out curtain.

Ako din may inquiry sa alibaba regarding sa led86 wala pang reply,sir loupah pede po ba magpaplace ng order sayo? Wala kc ako alam sa pagtransact pagdating sa ganyan.planning to buy na since nabili na ung tv k hehe.

Matanong ko lang bro, I read your posts and you previously owned a 55" 1080p Panasonic Tv, then you are going to switch to a cheap 720P projector like Led 86C or 86plus? Definitely Led86 cannot compete the image quality with your previously owned Panasonic tv, and you might be disappointed. But on the other hand the projector has a huge image size that will give you "cinema like feeling" experience at the comfort in your own home will made the projector as your best choice.

Mas active kasi ung nagbebenta ng 86+, hehe. nakachat ko. Kaso asking niya is nasa $255 shipped. And then sabi nga niya is mas mataas lumens ni + (3600 i think, afaik 2800 si 86C). D ko lang alam if totoo. Medyo hindi din kasi reliable data sa alibaba.
Although what makes me interested is that I found one video in youtube using 86+, and I was quite impressed with it. Dont know if better camera lang nagamit for the video.
Update, ala pa din reply ung sa 86C. =)

Without android os ito sir. I might try this out if wala pa din reply sa isa. =)
Also, I clarified with them if they check the unit first for defects, etc. before sending out to avoid returns.
They do naman daw. Concerned lang din sa chance na mangyari ito.

Yes, pero comparing sa mga ibang pjs na prospect ko. Quality is almost close to it. But still I dont want to raise my expectation for this pj. =)

Nope both are Lcd projectors, I've read a lot of projector reviews that Dlp projectors are superior in PQ especially contrast & colors, only if your eyes are not sensitive in rainbows. Forget the warranty when you buy online.
It seems that we have the same choices, only that you miss one the XGIMI Z3, maybe this will be my next upgrade dlp projector check this out...https://youtu.be/9XH9dUZz-q0

I have 92" screen and the distance from screen to the lens is 2.9mts. (114"). It has only 720p native resolution.

GREAT! Congratz.....Hingin mo tracking no. sa kanila, after shipment, para ma-monitor mo item mo. Pag-matract mo shipment tiyak hindi ka naloko ;D Yes! normal lang yan pero sakin 6 days inabot kasama sat & sunday. May babayaran kapang customs tax ( bakit kc nangingialam pa tong goberno eh! kkurakutin lang nman >:D), around 1500 pesos. Abangan namin review mo dito.

I think XGIMI Z3 is good sir, 3D na ito. Count me in pag ito ung orderin ntin. Pero may minimum order kasi, 100 pcs :(

Led 86C/86+ are different in technology from the three projectors mentioned above (Coolux, Luxcine, Xgimi Z3). But these are all 720p projectors. There is none 1080p projector yet for this price range, please be guided
that not all the information written their is correct, pls make your own research.
1. LED 86 is an LCD projector, Huge in size & not portable. Price range between 200-300usd.
2. Whereas Coolux, Luxcine, Xgimi Z3 are DLP projectors, small & portable. Price range between 500-600usd.
If you are going to use this projector as a stationary display, Led 86 is a no-brainer.
If you are a traveler then choose between the three dlp portable projectors.

I am assuming there is a difference between 720p and 1080p on projector usage? Especially if your source materials output Full HD? I guess what Im getting at is when its a TV, it does matter if its full hd versus hd ready only. How about projectors? Because of the size of the screen I am assuming a 1080p would be better? Reduce the sharpness para magging smooth ang skintone ng mga tao. Yung color brightness & contrast, mata-mata lang yan according with your own liking. Paglaruan mo lang ang mga settings don sa user mode, until makuha mo ung pinaka gusto mong image quality.
The best is to use matte white projector screen, and you must control the room lightings, use only ambient lights and avoid lights direct to the image. GOOD LUCK!!! & Happy viewing...

Sabi sa akin ng manufacturer ng XGIMI ay yung Z3 model ay pang China market lang daw yun, meaning hindi cya English language tsaka dualcore lang daw. Ngayun kung ang specs nyan ay quadcore with built-in wifi & bluetooth, tapos 1500 lumens and English version, mura na yan. Ingat ka lang sa mga different models of Xgimi bro, piliin mo yung pinaka-highest specs.

Ayus lang yan bro, 60W lang pala ang lamang nito sa Led 86C eh. Isipin mo nalang kung gaano kalaki ng image ang makkuha mo from that 220W pj. compared with your 55" tv which screen size is fixed.

for me sufficient na ang brightness ng led 86. in terns of pq almost the same lang yan.
if you are looking for a much better than led 86 look for a different controller and lcd

yes they have diff't technology, dlp projector is much brighter and deep in contrast against using bulb like osram , sun arc lcd projector.but led projector i think that a diff't story just my observation
led 86 projector is huge because of the cooling system that's the big problem of led projector you have to control the temp of the led.

Correct, pero pwede mo sabihin sa seller na ibaba ung declared value ng item for customs purpose only. Like for ex. when I bought my Led 86C for usd200, pero ang declared price value nya is usd100 only, kaya mababa lang ang binayaran kong customs tax, samantalang malaki ung package.
At that time kc nong binili ko ung first projector ko, wala pa akong alam tungkol dyan kaya ang laki talaga ng binayaran ko noon.

Anung Led projector ba ang tnatarget mo sir? Acer brand paren?
My first Led projector lasts more than 4-years, 3-4 hours daily use, tapos movie marathon during weekends & holidays. Bumigay lang ung power supply pero ung Led bulb itself intact pa rin. But I decided to buy a new one with higher specs ng konti at mas mura pa ng kalahati.
Pag sanay kna kc sa projector parang ayaw mona manood sa tv lang kc parang ang liit na eh! Kahit pa sabihin mo na 55" pa yan. BTW Lg 1080p led projector is the promising one, and forget about the warranty when you buy online.

Yes, DIY lang using 1"x2" wood for the screen frame (64" x 36"), maintaining 16:9 ratio. I used the bundled PJ screen, sayang nga kasi 100" yung size, pero 75" lang kasi kasya sa room ko.

Maganda talaga yan dahil full HD na, led pa! I think there are no other brand but Lg na mayrong full HD and pure led pj, others are a combination of Led+laser but suffering from color balance.
The newest 1080p model of Lg has more lumens and smaller, here is the comparison between it...

However, pang ceiling mount talaga sya kaya pina modify ko pa sa "welder" ung "long arm" para maging "wall mount" kaya ibang kulay sya compared sa body.

Tried to do some movies, Ok naman. Pero tama si sir Loupah, if coming from a 1080p tv, don't expect too much.
Its the size that makes this pj sulit.
Although may konti problema, may parang static na dumi sa middle right area. I do not know if sa loob ng projector.
Other than that, I think I will be enjoying this once I have done the proper calibration. =)

^Hindi ko pa natry ung 1234 sir. Medyo natuwa na ko sa picture so nanonood na lang muna. Haha!
Kaso hindi ko pa naaalis ung dirt, hindi ako makakita ng tool to open my pj, maliit kasi ung screws.
Pero overall oks na ung setting na nagawa ko, hindi pa ulet ako nagtry magtweak.
Problem na lang is placement, hindi ko pa naikakabit permanently sa ceiling, Temporary stand lang muna pag nanonood (patong-patong na box). =)

Nope! As in walang kainit-init sa singaw, maybe for its huge casing & good cooling mechanism inside, but with my Cre X205 medyo mainit rin ang singaw as I recalled, pero I think it is all normal.

yung led86+ ko mainit ang singaw na nilalabas sa right side nya. bat ganun,pero so far yung unit itself hindi naman umiinit yung singaw lang galling sa loob.but still satisfied ako sa resulta,ganun din sa akin di pa naka mount so patong muna at least tulad ngayon nilipat naming sa kwarto kaya yung anak ko tuwang tuwa sa kwarto nanuuod.

Walang ganyan sa atin sir, magkaiba ang motherboard and settings nila, so just for CRE projector brand only.

Yung init na lumalabas galing sa loob ng projector ay normal lang yon, basta wag lang masyadong mainit. The projector is keep maintaining to its normal temperature inside, kaya nya nilalabas ang init. But my Led 86 never got that hotter than my previous Cre X205 projector.

Parehas na maganda for its price! ;D I don't have that Cdr-king's RD-806 to compare it, but the picture quality maybe thesame, magkakaiba lang ng casing and other features. Speaking of...The best features for Led 86 that I liked most so far is the automatic shutoff function when the projector can't detect any source. Walang ganito sa una kong projector.

+1 same here, nga pala nakalimutan ko lang bangitin, but this feature is usually normal for bulb projectors to cool down the lamp first before it will totally shutdown.
The automatic shutoff function without any source detected will take around 10 minutes and cannot be adjusted. Although masyadong mahaba ang 10mins. but still a great feature, just set your any video source into sleep mode, then you are ready to go into sleep without worrying the projector.

current tv ko is 43" sammy plasma 1080i, kadalasan media ko ay 720p.
medyo concerned din ako sa light, open space kasi yung HT area. sobrang daming pasukan ng light.
usually gabi naman ang gamit namin sa HT area, pero pag weekends and holidays baka kailangan ko maglagay curtains sa likod ng sofa

Although Led 86 has a fair brightness in semi-bright areas, but you have to control the lights coming in to your HT room. So tama ang balak mo na maglagay ng curtain at the back of your sofa set for day used, and in the evening you have the perfect cinema movie room.

Yun bang led86 nagin paano ma maximize ang quality ng picture? At ngayon ko lang nadiskubre na yung unit ko hindi pala 3d.kc wala ako makita sa remote na 3d or sa manual.

Welcome back brader! Sakin nman hindi naging issue ang fan noise ng Led 86, maybe dahil naka-ceiling mount ito, naririnig ko lang ang blower sound ng pj, pagnakapatay ang wall fan ko. Uu tama klangan nga ng 1080p video source or bluray rip, para maganda ang picture quality.
As of now ginagawa kona syang tv display for everyday use. My tv source is only Digital Tv box for local channels & Android tv box for International channels & video streaming, but still the picture quality is beautiful.
It's better to use the real projector screen, even the ordinary screen lang para smooth ang picture quality.

Uu nman, kaya lang wala na ako sa Makati eh, sa Cavite na ako naktira. But I can tell you that this projector is good for your purpose, kasi this is a bright projector especially when you able to use this for tv or cable viewing.
As I said, yung sakin ginagawa kona cya as a mean display as a tv for daily used.

Congrats! Sana dadami na tayo dito, this projector is good for everyday used. I have an ISDB-T digital tv box with HDMI out (not the abs-cbn tv box), bagay na bagay si LED 86C dito, ang bright at ang linaw ng video image, parang HD ang video hindi halatang SD lang ang source ng free digital tv ng Pilipinas, hahaha, panalo talaga to.
Pero gusto ko prin magkaroon ng 1080p projector, like BenQ W1070 or LG PF1500 for serious movie watching at home.

When I click the link, lumalabas ang Led 86 plus which is different from Led 86C.

my devant 55 inch started having symptoms in span or 2yrs ( got it for 50k )
and iniisip ko kung bibili pako ng panibago as i browse through tv prices bigger screen
napapa wow pko sa price ng 65 75 85 inch....thats when i decided instead buying another panel
i leveled it up to a much reasonable buy and much bigger screen...
i also got my wife and kid the RD805 model 800 lumens 480p native reso

yung material niya is tarp material printed sa back ng full black then me border na print din
as i look closer sa white part niya its printed din ng white flat kasi eh hinde siya makintab which is tama :D
syempre mas maganda kung meron isdbt box [ tv plus/ blackbox ] para HD ang quality ng channels
gamit ko kasi dito samen baron lang :D walang signal makuha ang blackbox/tvplus

My projector is not yet mounted on my ceiling, currently its about 12 inches below the lowest point on my screen. I can not seem to get a good focus on the entire screen, The edges is blurred, is this normal given that the projector is tilted, I used a book about 2.5 inches to tilt the projector upwards

patungan ko temporary bumili ako ng shoe rack na plastic na inaasemble yung matigas 2 set para mataas pinag dugtong dugtong ko :D para straight shooter lang then focus adjust hinde kona ginalaw yung tilt :D
yan din ang napansin ko sa sulok medyo blurred pero oks lang sakin :D diko pa kinalikot uli nag eenjoy pkmi ulitin uli mga movies :D

It is because you might be using 720p resolution. Actually the true native resolution of Led86 is 1280 * 768, not 1280 * 800, as manual said. Try to change your laptop resolution into 1280*768. That also happen to my Led86c, my laptop automatically set to 720p. and yes the window screen is a bit smaller, when I change the resolution to 1280*768.....BOOM!

Yes. Right click sa main screen then choose screen resolution. Usually lalabas na din ang recommended screen resolution for your device. But, supposedly they automatically change whenever you plug your additional monitor.

Mga PJ Masters, newbie questions lang po, I've never owned a PJ and is currently curious in this system now.
What's the minimum distance from the PJ unit to the screen to achieve the 100" size?
Since ang typical set-ups ng home theatres ay malapit sa screen, paano naman set-up with a PJ? Thru long HDMI cables po ba or move the whole system near to the PJ unit?
Do most PJ units have built in multi media players whereas we just plug the hard disks to the USB ports & play the HD movies just like most of the TVs nowadays?

^Based sa feedback, for budget projectors such the LED 86, ideally ka-level ng PJ yung center ng screen para uniform ang focus/clarity.

Absolutely correct! my first projector is also LED. It takes four years and a couple of months of daily used before the power supply gone, but the LED bulb still shines.

I have no idea about that, kc hindi na ako gmagamit ng PC or Laptop for my Led86. I'm currently using WD TV live and Android Media players, it is more convenient than any other PC or laptop.

i think meron yan mabibilhan ang kutob ko yung led light niya is parang yung sa FLOODLIGHT na led
flat type na naka patong sa heatsink :D kutob ko lang naman un :D
as for sa nagtatanong sa heat niya wala ako aircon dito sa sala ngayun but yung heat na lumalabas sa fan is mild normal lang at yung ikot ng fan niya is normal lang din hinde turbo :D

as for sa nagtatanong sa heat niya wala ako aircon dito sa sala ngayun but yung heat na lumalabas sa fan is mild normal lang at yung ikot ng fan niya is normal lang din hinde turbo :D

Not tried yet, but I think it should work, because Chromecast is a plug & play device & this projector have two HDMI inputs and USB inputs too, to power up the Chromecast or similar one. ;D

Conversely, maybe UNIC downplayed the PJ specs to provide a "greener" appeal to energy-conscious consumers. Either way, one (maybe even both?) of those manufacturers is(are) guilty of false advertisement! ;D

Good thing your PSU just died. There is a different mode of LED driver failure that would let unregulated, higher voltage/current pass and destroy the LED bulb.

Do you leave the main switch at the back at the ON position or do you turn it OFF. Medjo mahirap to turn OFF when it already ceiling mounted.

Never turn it off since installed in the ceiling. Ginawan ko sya ng sariling wall swicth, parang wall switch lang ng ilaw sa bahay. Yon lang ang ON & Off ko every time I use it.

Doesn't it shorten the life of the bulb / unit if you shut it abruptly?
AFAIK power down needs a cool down but not really sure for led. Anyways check nyo lang.

NO sir! This projector has the ability to delayed the total power's off, you can only hear the fans running to cool down the unit, then a couple of min/sec. the projector will totally power shuts down by itself. That's the time you can now switch off the power source. :) :) :)

Bro, mag base ka sa native resolution. In this case, 1280x800 (from specs) or 1280x768 (as suggested by bro Lou). Pero lahat naman ng projectors even the 800x480 ones are capable of displaying 1080p signal. Sadly, sinasabi ng ibang sellers na 1080p for marketing that's why you always have to look at the native resolution indicated.

Since LCD projector sya with LED as light source, tingin ko ang behavior nya similar sa ibang LCD displays. Pag LCD kasi pinakamalinaw pag naka native mode. Like pag laptop resolution naka set sa native resolution ng monitor super linaw kasi 1:1 pixels.
So theoretically mas malinaw ang 720p na source file. Yung 1080p na file di siguro mapapansin ang difference lalo na kung walang texts. Ang problema puro theory ako kasi wala akong LED86 kaya hintay tayo ng first-hand experience sa owners. :D

Ok, good question! As what I have seen with the image output, mas malinaw, mas smooth, mas solid at maganda ang color ng image if the file is 1080p. Since this projector is only 720p ida-downgrade nya ito to its native resolution which is 720p nga lang, pero mas maganda sya compared sa 720p na movie file.
The theory mention by brader larokulit is absolutely correct, but this will be applied to the player and the projector, meaning you have to set your movie player, ex: dvd player or laptop into 720p resolution para match sila ng native resolution ng projector. The difference between 1080p vs. 720p file is not that big, only if you go bigger than 90" image size, but if you used bluray rip 1080p files, you can see how good really true HD movie is.

Nap roller, a bit darker, pero negligible para sa akin. CONTRAST is awesome, will never go back to white screen. Para ako nag upgrade ng projector !!!
From what I read White screen is ok for perfectly dark rooms with dark walls, ceilings and floors. if you have a small amount of light and the walls is light colored, grey screen is the best.
if you do not want to risk damaging your screen, buy a light colored cartolina sa bookstore and tape it to your white screen and see the difference. I used light brown as there was no light gray

White latex paint mix with black. Actually any brand will do as long as its FLAT and has the right darkness. I will be in Discovery Suites tomorrow from 5 am to 1 PM, I can put a sample on a bond paper and you can get it to be used as a template for the paint mixer.

I thought its a pre-mix paint na, ttemplahin pa pala ito. so the mixture wil be mata-mata lang ba?
Yes, first attempt was too dark, so went back to the paint shop to add more white. Second attemp was perfect. now, If the paint store has a color chart, N8 yung code. wala kasing N8 sa chart noong paint shop na pinutahan ko, so tyantahan method :)

If may color chart, no need for trial and error. use N8 or you can get a sample in Paranque / Ortigas :)

Actually, I built a DIY screen before a 4'x8' plywood, painted with metallic silver due to my low lumens projector before. Hinde ko cya nagustohan maybe I put a wrong color paint, kaya I bought a real projector screen, plain white nga lang.
In my case ok na cguro ako sa white screen ko ngayun, because I have dark blue walls and controlled lighting environment.

Flat white paint - water based
Satin finish - Neutral
I wouldnt recommend using flat white paint mixed with black tinting paint (to produce grey screen). During projection, colors are dull and whites will looked darker.
If you have extra cash, add RGBY paints to your colorant:

You should have use the ff: (all can be bought at amazon)
Liquitex basics silver
Rustoleum Metallic Accents–White Pearl +
Flat white paint - water based
Satin finish - Neutral
I wouldnt recommend using flat white paint mixed with black tinting paint (to produce grey screen). During projection, colors are dull and whites will looked darker.
If you have extra cash, add RGBY paints to your colorant:

Flat white paint at satin-finish neutral lang available locally. The main "ingredients" had to be sourced out sa eBay or amazon.

Sino ba pwede mag pa audition or test ng Led 86c mila. I am curious how it performs against my lg ph300 with 300 ANSI lumens. I have read Led 86 only has 500 to 800 ANSI lumens.

Well, kaso lang nasa kabilang ibayo ako eh. Maybe 500 to 800 Ansi lumens is accurate, you know naman Manufacturers are always exaggerate their claimed brightness, though 500 to 800 ansi lumens is enough for me, even in daytime viewing with minor treatment of your viewing environment.

You can go to the store that sells the LED86+ (Lucky HR in binondo) , you can demo it there, you can also bring your LG for comparison, sadly di lang masyadong maganda yung demo area as it is a reception area.

But I went all the way and got a Acer H 152x 1080 projector.
In a dark room. Parang TV na ang image quality.

Got a new MXIII WiFi Amlogic S802 Quad Core Tv box for my LED 86C. Bought it mainly for Kodi and the ability to play 4K videos and 3d movies and has a bluetooth function. Kapansin-pansin ang improvement ng video quality, especially if your movie files is 1080p.

For the same price why not something with Amlogic S812? 4k and can play H 265 files.
Amlogic S802 is also 4K and can play H 265 files and has bluetooth, whereas S812 don't.
Got mine from Lazada at php2,830 minus 350 coupon so I've only paid php2,480 delivered at my doorstep. San ka pa?

I remembered that It cant.
I was looking for a video player that is more future proof before. But i settled with Nvida shield Andriod TV.
I remembered that S802 is being used by older players like Minix 8H. While S812 is being used by Minix 8H plus. The difference was that Minix 8H plus has H 265 support.
I rechecked this website.

Well only way to find out is to try a 1080. 30 fps video file or better 60fps which is the minimunimho for hardware decoding.
If you get drop frames while using kodi then the box is struggling.

I set the box into 1080p 60fps because that's the maximum reso that my LED 86 supports, and I have 32gig blu-ray rip file from my original disc (Avatar). it plays flawlessly in Kodi and even in Mx Player.
I don't ask anything more for the price I paid!

Mx iii has two models as i researched it. Mx iii and the mx iii G or commonly knownas G Box. Mx iii only uses s802 and no h 265 decoding. Mx iii G is s812, bluetooth and h 265 decoding.
We just want to clear up things for the benefit of those who want to get a mx iii. Either the older mx iii s812 or Mx III G, depends on their needs.

We are now digging about the technical aspects of the box, hence my display (LED 86) is only 720p.

Thats the thing. I cannot figure out why you have a MXIII G with a S802 Chip.
Usually Hardware specs can override software limitations if you try to dispute it.
A simple test in Kodi can be done by playing a 1080p HVEC or even a 720 HVEC file.
If you try to pull down the info while playing. You will see if an HVEC file is being played using software decoder.

The best right now is Led86+ at 10,999....
1.The brightness may not be enough in a bright setting.
2. It has no zoom, so placement may be an issue as you need to move the projector closer/farther to get the desired screen size.
3. ideally, the projector should be dead center from the screen in terms of height, not recommended yung naka tilt yung projector upwards or downwards.
for a 90 inch screen. my projector is 110 inches away from the screen.

AFAIK, Led 86+ has a built-in Android system, so price wise this would be the best buy. But for me I don't like a projector with android integration. Paano pag nagha-hung yong android? damay pati projector mo! :'(

Got the Unic UC50 DLP Micro projector, nakkwotan lang ako sa sobrang liit neto. UC50 has advertised as 800 lumens (50 ANSI), and only has 854x480 resolution, palm size. I was able to compare it with my huge LED86C. ;) ;) ;) Look what happened.....https://youtu.be/oGGi80CmsCE

kung walang keystone ang projector, wala naman issue kung hindi dead center naka tutok ang projector sa screen? para walang issue sa focus? like naka mount sa ceiling, or wall mount which is hindi naman dead center ang project sa screen. correct me if I'm wrong..

Kung walang keystone ang projector, wala nmang issue basta you are clever enough to position between projector and screen. Kailangan talaga naka-dead center ang lens ng projector sa screen, kc kung hindi, magging trapezoid yung image output mo, at very distracting yon kung mannood ka. ;) ;D :)
Sa totoo lang itong Led86 ay mayrong keystone kuno, pro useless lang kc mapihit mo lang ng konti blur na ung image either top or bottom so the tendency is kailangan naka-dead center parin ito. :-\

I can't say nothing about RD806 since I don't owned it. The only way to measure the accuracy of a lumen ratings of a projector is to measure it, but who cares? All manufacturers including branded projectors are able to exaggerate their given lumen ratings. Now back to your question on which has a certified higher lumens? I think its RD806 with 3500 lumens, Led86 has only 2800 lumens according to the specs. given. But I find my Led86 is bright enough for my needs, remember not always the brighter is best, in terms of projector's picture quality.

Yes, tama ko dyan. Mukhang marami din nman happy sa performance ng uc46. Kung wala nga l;ang akong Led86 ito na bbilhin ko eh, but since mayron na I opted with Uc50 pra ma-try ko rin nman ang dlp projector.

ah okay, naka-order na ko ng UC46 last Saturday and dumating kahapon. not expecting too much on this projector pero sobrang not bad na yung performance for the price. may issue lang ako, kasi may dumi na nakikita sa pag-project ng image.. so mukhang kelangan kong buksan para linisin. pero intayin ko na lang yung 7days bago ko buksan. sobrang laking tulong din ng wifi ready ng unit.
normal bang medyo blurred yung corners at pag maliwanag ang scene sobrang wash out? ngayon kasi naka project lang sa white wall not sure kung dahil dun kaya ganun, magDDIY pa lang ako ng screen.

Yes! that is normal for a cheap lcd projector because of the plastic lens they're using, instead of glass lens. Also one reason is maybe you are using the keystone. Try keystone dial into zero and project dead center of the screen.
Hindi talaga maganda and factory picture settings ng maga ito, Kalikutin mo picture settings sa user's mode, lower or higher the brightness, contrast, sharpness and color, with your own liking. Kung white wall ang gamit mo ngayun, konti lang ang difference yan sa totong ordinary projector screen.

ah okay, thanks sir lou.. yup, napansin ko nga sa pagkalikot ng keystone napalinaw kahit papano yung corners. mukhang kahit may keystone eh bali wala kasi nagiging blurred lang yung corners so dead center parin ang bato dapat sa screen. kaya pag nagupgrade ako to led86 eh no problem kahit walang keystone.
at ginamitan ko din ng calibration galing youtube kaya natimpla ko ng swak na swak sa gusto ko, at talagang natuwa na ko sa bato ng kulay. laking bagay talaga ng wifi niya for wireless connection from phone.
naka white wall din kame, iniisip ko kung kukulayan ko ng gray tapos lalagyan ng border na black felt paper, malaking bagay ba natutulong ng black border?

Black border is a must talaga for a screen. Pero dapat talaga dark paint wall ang environment mo tapos white screen lang ang nakalitaw para to improve the contrast of the projected image, pero if no other way to paint darker your environment, lagyan mo nlang ng black border. I've already tried light gray paint, pero di ko cya type kc dumidilim ang image, Yes gumaganda ang contrast but I don't like the overall image quality. Pero try mo din kanya-kanya nman tau ng taste dba?
By the way, Led86 has also a keystone but same with your uc46 na useless nga, kc konting pihit lang blur na ung image. Ang walang keystone ay ang UC50 pero perfect ung focus nya for the entire screen. Kaya ng mas gusto ko image quality ng UC50 kaysa led86 ko eh...

Tompak! hinde washout ang image ng uc50 mas maganda kc contrast at mas intense ang color brightness dahil nga dlp ito. Ang Led86 is more brighter but bright in terms of white color only, kaya nagging wash-out ang image output nya. In bright environment tapos hd video source mo, talo ang uc50, but in dark environment halos same lang ang brightness ng dalawa, but you have to consider also the image size, syempre si uc50 is only 800 lumens, you can't go bigger than 60" image size. Led86 is 2800 lumens, you can go up to 120 image size.

oh yun pala. laking bagay pala talaga ng DLP tech, so parang natalo pa ni uc50 si led86 basta not more than 60" image size.
kung naging below 5k lang din si uc50 at nalaman kong walang use din yung keystone sa murang PJ, yan na kinuha ko, first time ko lang din kasi magtry mag PJ, kung ano ang feeling pag malaking screen pero so far naman happy naman ako sa uc46, medyo mahirap lang timplahin yung red kasi minsan nagiging parang pink lalo na sa lips at yung kulay ng tao.

So for now, just enjoy your new projector ;D ang disadvantage lang neto baka ayaw mo na manood sa tv kasi sobrang liit na ng screen, para k lang nood ng celfone :)...

I can't say nothing about RD806 since I don't owned it. The only way to measure the accuracy of a lumen ratings of a projector is to measure it, but who cares? All manufacturers including branded projectors are able to exaggerate their given lumen ratings. Now back to your question on which has a certified higher lumens? I think its RD806 with 3500 lumens, Led86 has only 2800 lumens according to the specs. given. But I find my Led86 is bright enough for my needs, remember not always the brighter is best, in terms of projector's picture quality.

Brightness is good. But having too much brightness can tire your eyes especially if you have a small projected image with a bright projector.

But others added that it also depends on your screen also and how to control the bleeding light from the PJ.

120" on dry wall medyo nag fade lang yung paint ng wall...needs repaint pag nag OK na panahon pawisin yung pader :(

Sana nga bumaba pa, kaso discounted price na yun kc sumali ako sa promo nila bago ilabas sa international market yung Xgimi H1. Muntik kona nga patulan eh, nagpipigil lang ako, hehhe.... Asan kpa? 1080p native reso, 900ansi lumens, with optical zoom, at higit sa lahat it has a vertical & horizontal keystone. Di mona kailangan ilagay sa center ung projector, pwede na sa tagiliran. Isa pa ung built-in speaker is "Harman Kardon" with passive subwoofer and has a higher Andoid OS as of this writing. Actually LG PF1500 talaga ang nasa first list ko noon, pero hindi na ngayon.

Sorry! wala akong uc46 to compare with my Led86. Pero Led86 is 2800 lumens, 720p native resolution. Whereas uc46 is only 480p native reso and only 1200 lumens according to the writings. Here is my Led86 performance compared to my UC50. https://youtu.be/oGGi80CmsCE ;D

Kararating lang sakin so pictures of unboxing lang muna. Pero na-test ko na rin ang overall performance and picture quality, masasabi ko lang it's a WOW! It is really an upgrade from my other two projectors. I will be making video reviews on this weekend, so stay tuned and I will be posting or I'll make another thread with this little baby. ::)

Tested the 3D function kagabi ::) I am really not a fan of 3D movies or games, but since the fact that it is already there, why should I not try? Wow! I am truly amazed with the 3D performance. This projector is equipped with the active shutter 3D-imaging technique used by DLP cinema projectors. The 3D movie source is just from video streaming on this projector. FYI, this little projector almost have it all. It has an ethernet port, wifi, bluetooth, auto keystone correction, usb2 and usb3 port, mira-cast, Hdmi/MHL, and full Android functions. SPDIF audio out not tested yet, but there is a Raw feature in audio settings for digital out. The audio output from the internal speaker of this pj is also good, compared to my previous two projectors. Most of all, really bright with fair contrast, good image color and can handle my air mouse remote for convenient operation on Android system. ;D

Wall paint as your projector screen? Any flat white color will do, but better if you can mix a flat light gray for better contrast. Never use any glossy paint, it will create hot spot on the center of the screen. ;)

One more Sir Loupah, alam mo po ba how to adjust un tint sa color settings? Pag pupunta po ako sa menu, hindi naka-highlight un tint (grayed). Napansin ko kc na during dark scenes, dominant un pinkish skin tones/color. Ganono po ba tlaga un, or we can still adjust it? Salamat po uli. :)

Oo ganun talaga, fixed na yung tint, and cannot be adjusted. Ang pwede mo lang galawin doon sa user mode ay yong brightness, color, contrast and color temp, kaya ginagawa ko doon ko nalang inadjust yung color red, para mabawasan ung pinkish color nito. Ganun talaga ang mga cheap lcd projectors, kaya mag-upgrade kana into dlp projector heheehhe. ;D :D ;)

Anyone with the LED86+? Papasok ba agad siya sa Android pagka-on? May nakita kasi akong menu ng isang projector na generic lang yung UI nya tapos pwede mo piliin yung Android. I'm still trying to decide between this and the RD806, and maybe even the CL760.

I'd rather go for portable dlp projectors, it is small, has more features and functions. Great colors, sharper and brighter and it is more affordable than before. Dagdagan mo nalang yung budget mo, for a 720p of 1080p led dlp projectors.
Sold my Led86 for a bargain, pero noong una, talagang nag-enjoy naman din ako sa Led86, Hindi mo rin kc malalaman kung alin ang mas maganda kung walang comparison, akala ko noong una ok na ako sa Led86, pero, when I've got my Max500, ang laki ng image difference, so hindi ko na nagagamit si Led86 kaya, bininta ko na.
The experienced of having four different cheap projectors, teaches me a lot of selecting for what is good and bad projector. ;D ;D ;D

Depende sa laki ng screen mo brader, alam ko na alam mo rin yon dba? Basta mas brighter cya sa Led86 natin. Habang tumatagal kc parang kulang na ung brightness nya kung ilalagay ko sya sa 92" screen ko, during the day pero tama lang during movie nights. Kaya doon muna cya sa ngayon sa 65" screen ko na kahit bukas lahat ng ilaw ko sa living room ay bali wala lang lalo na pag-nood ka lang ng tv news. Kaya ipon muna para pang-upgrade into XGIMI H1, pra doon ko ilagay sa 92" screen ko. ;D :D ;)

It has really a big improvements in overall picture quality from single lcd 720p to dlp 1080p.
