Title: Passive speakers to Active Sub
Post by: zereque on Aug 17, 2015 at 11:45 AM
Hi guys,

May tanong lang po ako, Pwede ko po bang gamitin ang Passive Speaker ko na Kenwood around 30 Watts to my Edifier - M3300SF 12W x2 + 30 W ang specs nya.

Sira na kasi ang left channel,. so it is possible na gamitin ko ang passive speakers sa Edifier powered sub?

Thanks and more power Pinoy DVD

Regards,
Rasell :)

Wag ka sa watts tumingin sir.kailangan tama impedence at values ng passives.  Your best best if to restore the existing passives nalang.  Buy caps of the same capacitance.  Also, pa check mo din baka me kailangan lang ihinang sa connectors.

Small 2.1 systems usually have 4 ohm sats and im guessing your kenwoods are 4-8 ohms, so most likely pwede.

Buy caps of the same capacitance.
para saan caps?

its 8 ohms mga sir, so i just need a wire(speakers) to RCA (active sub)  para magamit ko yung Bookshelf speakers?

Thanks sa mga info mga sir, :)

Yes. Siguraduhin mo lang matino yung RCA wires na ikakabit sa Edifier amp outputs to speakers.

Mga sir

thanks sa pagsagot sa post ko,. just to make sure lang, ito po ang full spec ng Edifier ko,

RMS 12W x 2 + 30W x 1
Subwoofer / bass unit: 6½ inch (166mm), Magnetically shielded, 8ohms
Midrange / high unit: 3 inch (78mm), Magnetically shielded, 4ohms
Tweeter unit: 10mm, Magnetically shielded, 4ohms
Impedance: 10K ohms
Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR) >=85dBA

At sa Kenwood naman 30 Watts 8 Ohms
