Title: LCD TV screen peeling

Would anyone know what is causing this screen peeling on my 2006 32-inch Samsung LA32S71BX LCD HDTV?

This has not been used in over a year and the screen started to slowly peel off.

No water damage or any sort exposure.

its old na kasi, seriously. Happens to all the old lcd panels.

Are your referring to the discoloration and distortions  in the corners ? Wala bang degauss function yan

Did 1 year not in use worsen it ?
I Have a same age 32 inch diff model and still good

Ganyan nangyari sa bravia ng pinsan ko na less than year. may nagpeel off na maliit. Kala nung maid plastic na nakabalot lang. Tinanggal lahat. Hehe gumagana pa naman pero di na maganda ang image sa screen.

Bumigay na yung plastic laminate sa harap kaya ganyan.. due to poor storage yan or naiinitan yung lcd.

By th looks of it, parang maiinit na lugar yung ni-store yung tv.

Room is shaded from direct sunlight and is the coolest room in the house. It developed the issue within the last 12 months. We havent used the TV in 12 months.

Damp air kaya can cause it?

Older LCD tvs had this problem. 

Parang planned obsolescence.

I experienced something similar with my late 2002 purchased laptop. Today the unit is still working but the LCD screen is just like that. 

The laptop is also seldom used but stored properly.

pagagastusin tayo ng lcd companies ah.. crts noon... naalala ko may ginamit kami.. bata ako... since i can remember hangang lumabas lcd nasa bahay e...
namiss ko nga yung sony dot logos sa gilid ng lcd na di natin tinatangal noon... hehehe
