Title: YAMJ to Mede8er Problem
Post by: Lancito on Feb 11, 2016 at 11:56 AM: Been using YAMJ for Mede8er for YEARS until lastnight, I couldn't get to download the fanart. I get an error due to the updated JAVA.

Followed some confusing instructions on the Mede8er forum but none seemed to help.

Anyone here knows how to fix this? Thanks.

it says illegal character on the header, maybe there's a special/ASCII character on the tags of the file?

Hi sir, do you mean install the old Java to Windows or only to the YAMJ?

does the error message occur in your PC or in the Mede8er? if in PC/Windows then try to rollback the Java in your windows. did you update the Mede8er with new firmware? or just your windows machine?

Can you teach me how to rollback to the old Java on Windows? Thanks.

did you just upgrade to Java 8?
I also encountered errors on some of my apps in my laptop when i upgrade to Java 8 so I just revert to Java 7.
