Post by: AshKetchum on May 21, 2016 at 09:56 AM: The demonic invasion on TV continues as FOX will premiere The Exorcist this fall. Not necessarily a remake of the 1973 movie, the series is described as "a propulsive, serialized psychological thriller following two very different men tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession, and confronting the face of true evil."

The Exorcist is the latest in a series of TV shows related to Satan or demonic possession, following Lucifer, Damien (now cancelled), and the upcoming Outcast.

Cast includes Geena Davis, Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels

Network: FOX
Premiere date: Fall 2016

Agree. Might have been better for the show if they ended with the episode 8 cliffhanger.

Should there be a season 2, I wonder if they can still pull it off with the Rance family? Though it will not be the same without Casey and Kat.

This season seems ok but i do get some "stranger things" kinda vibe to it. Maybe mainly because of the kids.
