Title: Time After Time

Based on the 1979 film of the same name that starred Malcolm McDowell, David Warner and Mary Steenburgen, Time After Time sees author H.G. Wells using a time machine and traveling to the present day as he pursues Jack the Ripper.

Cast includes Freddie Stroma, Josh Bowman, Genesis Rodriguez, Regina Taylor

Network: ABC
Premier date: Fall 2016

Really liked the original movie--hope they don't ruin it.

This new show follows the adventures of a young HG Wells.  The pilot is free on Microsoft Movies and TV.

Episode 1 was nice except that they made Wells a pussy.
