Is anyone have an idea on this amp? I dont know if it is worth it kung iiuuwi ko ng pinas dahil almost 45 kilos daw sya? so i have to pay extra sa luggage.kung ipapaship naman okay kaya? hows the performance? and how much is the price range sa pinas ng ganito? Hindi ko maaudition dahil isa akong mandaragat and nakita ko lang sya online.

CAV T5881 is listed on the net as a Chinese made Tube AMP priced at $2,750

US$2,750 x 50 = 137,500.00
It may not be prudent to invest the stated amount on a gear you have not tested personally. At that Price I am confident there are other gears available from the local market that comes with complete warranty. Cayin is a brand that come to mind.
In addition, there are plenty of very talented local assemblers like Rene Rivo(Hyper-audio), Mang Andrew(AMX) and Mnag Rod(TROD) that can customize based on your requirement.

when buying tube gears from abroad,
the highest consideration will be after sales service,
who is going to service your unit in the event of a problem?
no tube gears are ever bullet proof....
ownership of tube gears requires some
basic knowledge of tube maintenance....

Yes CAV is Chinese made tube amplifier.
May I also add, Tony also designs and builds tube amps.

i have turned down lots of requests,
i am slow to accept new ones...specially those

i have had many inquiries seeking advise, mostly from ofw's,
and my advise has always been, if you see any gears that you fancy, ask them if the same is available locally....
if so, better to buy locally, at least me hahabulin ka
pag nagkaproblema...
