Saw this on my newsfeed.

Digital TV receivers are currently available on the market, as are digital media set-top boxes running on the Android platform. However, there is currently no product in the Philippine market yet that combines both.

GMA's digital media set-top box is good news for me ONLY IF they can price it at P1,499. Same price of ABS-CBN TV Plus - HDMI version now. Or lower price.
About built-in Android OS, some may want it but most users don't need another Android device. They just want a plain old digital TV receiver. The cheaper, the simpler, the better. Specially true in the provinces.
