Title: where can i get mounting screws for a turntable cartridge?

Bought a 2nd hand cartridge from eBay assuming that I could use the existing screws I have (Pioneer TT with a Shure M44-7). No go. The screws are too long and the tread won't reach the bottom of the cartridge I got. Is it possible to purchase a mounting kit locally?
