It's a cautionary tale of a life in large-scale narcotics smuggling and a commentary on the failure of the war on drugs.

Sidenote: The real El Chapo has sued Netflix (twice over) for the use of his likeness and for defamation.

It isn't. It's a different set of producers.

Wish they crossed over the actors from Narcos to this lalo si Escobar. Wouldve made it very more related stories.

Parang ang laki ata ng story jump from episode 2 to 3?

figured it out. mali ang episode numbering nung isang source ko. missed out from ep 2 biglang 5 na yung napanood ko.

gets to be a bit draggy towards episodes 7-9.

ok na din ito, mataas lang talaga na-set ng Narcos na bar, also mas ok ang story telling ng Narcos.

Yes, subtitles will be needed. Native Spanish speakers will also probably need subtitles as the Mexican accents are pretty heavy.
