Hi! Got the used Cambridge 650A, but parang grounded yung chassis. How do you solve this? 3 plugs yung Cambridge (with ground wire) tapos 2 plugs lang outlet natin here in the Philippines? I don't want to use the ampli until I solve this.  Any thoughts? Thanks

^_Kailangan my ground o dapat gumagana ground nung inlet AC nung saksakan mo para mawala yung parang grounded sa chasis, design kasi yan sa UK which yung type ng AC inlet nila eh gumagana yung ground.

Thanks. Parang ganoon na nga. So I need to find a way na ma ground yung outlet at maging 3 prong outlet. Will do more research :-)

What do you mean by grounded ung chassis? May charge if you touch the chassis? Have it checked, there's usually a problem. Most of my UK appliances work with a UK to US/Euro plug adapter (3 prong to 2 prong) which basically just removes the ground (latest one is an Anova 900w immersion cooker).

UK plug ba nakakabit? Yung fused na malaki ang plug? O yung ordinary na parallel blade with a rounded ground plug? If the latter pwedeng tanggalin mo lang yang ground plug sa gitna with pliers and you're good to go. O kaya kung OC ka bili ka nung adaptor na may ground terminal tapos magpabaon ka ground rod para dun ilagay yung ground terminal ng adaptor.

If may electric shock when you touch the chassis, most likely may problem yan. Hindi nakakabit sa chassis ang live and neutral lines nyan so compatible sa utility power dito satin maski split-phase ang supply sa area nyo.

Sorry guys, missed to check this thread again. No shock naman sa chassis, but may konting charge when I touch the front panel. So I was wondering if I should just directly ground the chassis. Is this safe? thanks...
