I am also in the look for a new 4K HDR TV with the same price range...
Here are my choices sir...

1. LG 65sj8500 @ Php 98K to 100K
2. Samsung 65mu7000 @ Php 96K to 99K
3. LG 75uj6570 @ Php 134K to 140K
4. Samsung 75mu6100 @ 165K

If you are after the best of the best, look for the OLED TVs of LG, Sony and Panasonic ;)

The 65 samsung mu 6303 is now only 62.5k in S&R Nova. This can actually upscale excellently the 720x304 content that i tried on it. Nice one. As i have the debate is not so hot on contents 720 up but on much smaller contents.

MU 6100 for me is the better one from that list:)

I find the 6100 and 6303 equally nice, though the 6100 is a lil bit rare in malls now. The 6103 on the other hand, which is the curved version of the same has been the one on display recently. This unit failed to acknowledge my media player hence i opted for the 6303, curved version of the 6300, with better rating in rtings.com.

anu difference ng mu6100 sa mu6300 if pareho silang flat? tia

I cant comment on their technical aspect other than what is provided online. My real concern between these two is whether it would recognize my media player or not. Its the 6100 that is compatible with my media player and the curved 6303. In view of the non availability of the the 6100 now, my option is the 6303.

I noticed though that the 6100's price in S&R is high at 80K+ in contrast with the 6303 at 62.5k.

I recently lost my beloved Panny plasma.  7 Years of great natural picture gone in an instant.  Fixing it may not be the wisest thing as who know how long it will last?   So I am looking for a replacement.  Here is a review  on the 6300 series.

Came across the TCL 65x3 curved 4K TV while browsing and scouting for a 65" for our bedroom...
Haven't seen this personally but the spec sheet is promising ;D

Quantum Dot Technology
QLED
HDR Pro
Micro Dimming (I'm not sure if this is the same as Local Dimming)
Built In Harman Kardon Speakers
*Android TV*
64-bit A53 quad-core processor
Mali T860 MP2 480 MHz GPU
2.5GB RAM
16GB of internal storage

Local SRP is around Php 140,000 but cash price discount is between Php 88K to 96K

Worth it kaya...?  >:D

At 65" size here are my choices with my budget...
Hopefully I could upgrade before the year ends  >:D

Sony 65x9000e @ Php 114,000
Samsung 65mu7000 @ Php 96,000
TCL 65x3 @ Php 89,000

My very first choice is really the LG 65c7 but @ Php 164,000 its way over budget :(

Right now my top choice is the Sony but I am also impressed with the TCL and Samsung, thinking of getting the cheaper option and get a soundbar with the price difference :)

I am also looking at the TCL 75" C2 at P115k.  Same price as the Sony 65" X9000.  Nandun lahat ng features na gusto ko kaso TCL ang brand.  Still hesitant on the quality.

My personal prejudices will probably prevent me from buying a TCL.  But that spec sheet is really good for the cash price posted.

I really want to go OLED on my next purchase, but the prices being shown in the malls is starting to get really tempting.

The Samsung 65 MU6103 is currently at ₱67k these days and can even be lowered further if you pay in cash.  The 70 KU6000 is at about ₱92k, if you're able to find one.

In the market for another 65" recently too. What about the 7500D? Reviews point to bad contrast ratio but how would it diff from the 7500?

I got a 65C6 OLED this January for the bedroom and a ultra short throw LG PF1000 for the "cave". I did not think the projector part clearly since it requires a very flat wall and I got a remote drop down screen. I could never set it up properly, thus, going to sell the projector soon and just get another 65".

My initial plan is to get something to swap with the OLED from the bedroom since I feel the potential is lost as my wife is just interested in watching 90s show reruns and watch the least quality but the fastest and my ps4 pro is in the cave squandering it's HDR/4K powers. I want the swap to be not so jarring or a big noticeable change, I am even considering not telling her and swapping in the middle of the night to see if she even notices (lol). What would be the best case swap here?

You may need to get another LG just so the remotes will not need to be changed. ;D

HAHA. Fortunately I have everything on a single Harmony Hub remote ;)

Back on topic though, I'm really looking for something 60-65k only, adhering to the 1k per inch ratio or less. hehe

It'd surely be an obvious downgrade from your OLED screen. The IPS clouding and reduced contrast would definitely be noticeable in a bedroom environment (unless your bedroom is brightly-lit), though you would get wide viewing angles and a judder-free 120Hz display.

I personally can't stand IPS with the lights off. Whether your wife will mind or not would be upto her.

Looking around! I guess the VA Samsungs are better choices! @Stagea, that looks very tempting. I'll see if the local appliance store can match this.

What's the difference between 6103 and 6303?

Time to put up the PJ on the marketplace!

Saw an ad sa OLX, the 75x900e is selling for P208,900.00 cash. My friend who owns Bayanihan Cargo in the US quoted me $380.00 to $400.00 all in door to door shipment for a 65 in TV last time I asked him. Let's say the 75in model will cost an additional $100.00 the total landed cost of the TV would be $3,300.00 or P168,300.00 using $1.00 = P51.00 rate. Laking mura talaga and you still get to use your credit card to buy the TV. Yun nga lang surface shipment so it takes about a month before you receive your order and then there's the matter of warranty to consider.

Sony, bigger screen, fald, very good image quality and color, excellent motion handling and no issue on image retention.  I'll get the 940D if they have it locally.  You may also want to consider the older model 930D, color is more vibrant.

Guys I just got SAMSUNG QLED Curved 75" @ 200k+ today. I didnt take note on the model it was 75QC8C something here on the receipt (Wednesday pa delivery so we could have the space prep-up). It's for replacing our very old SAMSUNG 67" Rear Projection TV in the family room. As I was testing & viewing it, it seems very ok. Colors are rich & hopefully I'm not mistaken Black is Black as I made sure of it. I wasnt so meticulous on this including the functions coz the kids will just be using it during there free time & maybe if nobodys using it I could watch some movies on it too.

I just felt now maybe I should have ask around first before buying, it was a very early morning rush today to get the stuff we need in the house as I work 6days a week as my wife wanted me to go w/ her so I could help here choose. Usually Sundays I just wanna relax here at home w/ music & movies as much as possible.

Any bad feedback on this new model? baka nakamali ako pag pipili.

I think you made a good choice.  QLED is the high end model of Samsung's LED line up, plus you have a whopping 75" screen.  My suggestion is to check for backlight bleeding, once you get your unit.  If there's no backlight bleed, then you are good in my opinion.  I'm not a big fan of OLED, simply because of the image burn issues.

Wow bro Ken, this is one of the Top of the Lines QLEDs of Samsung...

Colors are really sharp and bright...

Thanks for the idea, if mai bleeding its too late na coz we paid for it already. hehe. but during the DEMO I made sue the black areas are totally balck w/c for me it really was, the only way to know for sure is we'll have the lights off when it gets here in the house.

Hi Jo, I didnt even take note of the warranty given ok I'll aak my wife to give them a call. Its from SM as AYALA (Abenson is located) here in Cebu is still close for nearly a week & a half due to the METRO fire.

Thanks Louie, that what my 1st choice the 8500  or 9000 coz its cheaper then what magnetized me the most w/ the Sammy was the curved screen & w/c I thought has more crispier image than the Sony. Yung nga when I got home I was thinking overkill nga. Ok nalang I havent tried 4k pa so para magamit din mga 4k BD ko but player na naman problema  ;D

sir saan itong 145k na 75x8500e having a hard time to find with that price range. almost 170k na bigay ng mga napag canvassan ko. Salamatr
