Well my C7 will be taken out of the bedroom...out of the house for a larger version that goes to the family room >:(
What replaces it is a modest Samsung MU 406103
Since this is a very good budget entry level TV...I’ll give my thoughts after a full night of play.

Build Quality:
The 6103 has a fare build quality. I don’t want to use the word “cheaply built” because it’s far from it. Lets just say it feels less premium and for it’s price one should not complain. It’s almost entirely made of plastic material ...However, it does look stable and the stand is not as wobbly.
Screen Quality:
The LED panel has a decent contrast delivery with good blacks but far from astounding. Dark details do look more greyish but not washed out. Colours are equally good but appear more muted with this set. Screen uniformity is typical of LED with brighter edges and with a grey test background a few dirty screen spots were seen. These weaknesses should be of little concern as they are hardly noticeable in real time viewing.
The semi glossy screen is hard pressed in blocking out glares. So it’s best to watch the 6103 in a muted lighting environment. View angles also take a hit in both contrast and colour when not viewed directly.
Picture Quality:
Cable TV (Cignal)
My cable is currently down so I can’t test this right now.
FULL HD
6103 does a very good job upscaling a native 1080p signal. Images are sharp and well detailed.
4K/HDR content (Netflix)
Images look best when the 6103 is fed with a native 4K content. Sharp details and highlights are well defined. Dark scenes could be more black than greyish but it’s not really an issue as the over all picture remains competent.
The presentation of HDR is quite wanting here. The colour gamut is not as wide as more premium models so the jump from SDR to HDR is not as effective, don’t get me wrong... HDR pictures look very good on this TV... it just does not “pop out” as much as they do with more expensive sets (Pls this is to be excepted). If you’re new to HDR then expect colours to be more vibrant, contrasts become deeper and lighting effects are more dynamic provided you watch contents that support the technology.
Gaming:
20ms is more than good enough to have a responsive gaming panel. The 6103 can be a cheap dedicated gaming TV (no doubt).

The 6103 is a good example that not all entry level TVs have to sacrifice a lot in the area of build quality and performance just for it to be affordable. This TV has a competent capacity and capability to run movies and play demanding games all in 4k glory. Though you may need to up your budget, if you want to see and feel what HDR can truly offer.
The 6103 can be a near perfect dedicated gaming display or a budget friendly secondary TV (40 inch version) for the bedroom (you don’t need a stellar TV in a room where there are more “stellar” things to do☺️).
As a home entertainment (Larger screens) centre piece ...The limited viewing angles may hurt the over all experience for other viewers who are not in the TVs direct path. However, it’s still a good TV that is only truly limited by the fact that it was never made to be the best nor does it pretend to be😉

For TVs of this range make the room fit the TV not the other way around. There was a very good improvement in the 6103’s image quality when I started watching it in a controlled lighting enviroment😉

i got mine yesterday nag markdown sale sila 49mu6103 for 29k =)

I got mine in abenson festival mall, 65 inch for 58k and for delivery today. I suppose to get from anson atc kaso kulang yong na withdraw ko at sabi ko debit na lang sa atm ko kasi good as cash din naman yon, dagdag daw ako ng 500. Gamahan sa cash yong manager nila. In the end I walked out at pumunta sa abenson festival and within 5 mins close ang deal at the price of 58k, down payment ko ay 30k tapos yong 28k mamaya once ma deliver.

You'd get judder when watching 24 Hz, 25 Hz and 50 Hz sources because the panel runs at 60 Hz. Some people will notice it, others won't. It will be perfect with 30 Hz and 60 Hz material.

I see. For replacement na kasi yung Sony x800D ko. Naisip ko na itong model ng Samasung ang ipalit since ito lang kaya ng budget. I have the Pro as well. Kung may issues na ganito might as well settle for another brand na lang. Yung KU6000 ng dad ko, di naman nagflicker nung naglaro ako sa kanila before.

Backlight: 20 (well lit room) 11 (dim lit room) 6 to 5 (dark room)
Contrast: 95
Sharpness: 30
All enhancements off including Auto Motion and keep the rest at default.
This is also good for digital animated movies or those who do not prefer a movie like picture.

My considerations are:
1. Will be use mostly for local broadcast and movie (90% movie 10% games)
2. Good and reliable aftersales warranty.
3. 49~55in size
4. Budget is around P30~35k.
I saw a 49mu6103 at abenson marketmarket last weekend for P31k, is it a good deal or may mairerecommend kayo na shop na pwedeng installment with 0 interest?

6103 is one of the better entry level TVs because of its competent contrast performane. Better for movies than even the more expensive X80E from Sony.

I think Na enable ko na HDMI UHD Color sir. Nasa settings siya diba sa external manager. Ayaw pa din eh. Your tv does not support HDR pa din. Kailangan ba ng hdmi na 2.0 cables? Thanks sir.

Yung isang hdmi cable sir nasa pioneer htib, tapos yung other end nun nasa hdmi 1 ng samsung mu6103. Ganyan setup, connection ko kasi sir para 5.1 yung sound galing sa pioneer htib. Ganyan kasi connection ko sa dati ko na tv sa lg na 3d tv. Mali ba sir connection? Thanks a lot

Most probably, your Pioneer HTIB does not support HDR.
Best way for you is to connect the HDMI out of the PS4 to the HDMI port of the Samsung and use the optical connection. Sound output will still be 5.1.
I have the same problem which is why I’m disposing my RXV-677 receiver and getting the 683 since the 677 doesn’t support HDR.

Thank you so much sir. Sorry going to ask again mga sir sorry for my ignorance hehe. Ang hirap mag setup sa samsung yata. Yung pioneer 3d bluray htib hindi ko mapagana ng husto sa mu6103. I mean hindi ako makanood ng bluray. Nilipat lipat ko na hdmi slots ayaw talaga. No source naka lagay sa tv. Ang nag function lang ps4. Yung sound niya sa ps4 naging 2.1 na lang.
Sa dating tv ko 5.1 linear pcm siya, tsaka i-input ko lang sa htib hdmi pag bluray, hdmi 2 pag ps4. Sa mu6103 ayaw ng bluray, ps4 lang nadetect ng tv. Sorry mga sir sa questions, wala din kasi ako makita na kasagutan sa net. Thank you mga sir.

samsung improvements year after year have been very slim. Not much in terms of innovation specially on the panel.
However, it still wouldn't be safe to assume that since based on the scores there are good years and bad years.

I believe it's for HDR, if you have HDR movies and HDR player then yes you can turn it on.

for built-in apps, i think automatic na yung hdr na enabled. check the netflix info, dapat nakaindicate hdr while playing the movie.

I check my netflix and try watching stranger things..
I check the info status and the video says 15.26 Mbps/ 2160.
Wala sya nakasulat na hdr na dun.. is that streaming info consider hdr na po ba ito pinapanood ko?

Don't own the mu6103 but....
If i remember correctly, You need a minimum of 25Mbps to get UltraHD 4k / HDR contents from netflix.
If you're browsing your netflix app through the tv there should be an Ultra 4k category. if it doesn't show up then your internet speed is not fast enough.

What You’ll Need:
A TV that supports either Dolby Vision or HDR and Netflix. (If you use a set-top box to stream Netflix, both the set-top box and TV must support HDR.)
A 4 Screen Netflix plan. You can check which plan you're currently on at Netflix.com/ChangePlan.
A steady internet connection speed of 25 megabits per second or higher.

Dapat po ba meron literal na nakalagay na HDR sa info ng netflix when streaming hdr movies/shows?

kung 2160p indicate then 4k na yan, when you browse ba yung mga hdr shows kung may nakalagay na hdr sa upper right. pero sa mismong info ata 2160 lang nakalagay.

Limited lang mga shows na may HDR sa netflix and yes nakaindicate na sa description na HDR sya. Mapapansin mo yung mga HDR mas maliwanag than normal.
