Title: MTV Celebrity Deathmatch
Post by: Qman on May 01, 2004 at 11:13 PM: I like this show of MTV its funny. base on the celebritys recent scandal or issue eh gumawaga sila ng mga death match

Last night their episode is

Chuck Berry vs. James Brown -
George Michael vs Paul Rubbin - sex scandal match
Shanen Doherty vs. Halle Berry - reckless driver title main event

one of my favorite epsiodes has to be the one with the *nsync vs. backstreet boys deathmatch. :o

my guess is... yup. those are pretty old episodes na ata. i seem to remember may monica vs. hilary pa iyan. ;)

i once read somewhere that based on studies made, MTV asia is gearing their programming to a more local flavor. that's one of the reasons why MTV Philippines was born. this was also the reason kung bakit nagkaroon ng more local shows like: be seen, syok!, it's my life, etc. etc. ;)

so it wasn't really any wonder why they don't show more US made programs more often like TRL, Real World, Road Rules, and yup.... Celebrity Deathmatch. i don't think it was a money issue (i don't think they needed to pay rights to shows they already own.) it's just that they didn't add anything to MTV's ratings kasi. sayang nga eh. :-\

actually, they did... parang 7-7.30 slot pa nga ata eh. but they ran out of new stuff to show (daily kasi) and sobrang gasgas na ang mga episodes, they stopped airing them. :(

you could always "RE-LIVE" those episodes.. and be in it...well control the characters anyway.

try buying (or downloading shhhhhh ::) ) the PC game.
