The Samsung/LG counterpart goes for around P28k. The difference is justified by picture quality, color processing and warranty.
For something you will use daily for the next 7-8 years, it is fine to spend a little more.

lets assume na hindi kunti ang idadagdag mo. pero ayoko mag risk ng 20k ko dito. dbale ng palagay natin 8k pa i add ko atleast kampante naman ako na tatagal ang TV ko and masulit ko yung picture quality.

I bought this 40" to change my old non-smart skyworth bedroom TV that i later donated. So far so good. Colors are nice. Netflix and you tube are both ok which are the only thing i want before going to sleep. Audio does not sound "basag"even on high volume. But of course, i dont prolong the high volume naman in our bedroom. Remote is not so-so mukhang durable naman.
hmm. looks promising ha. lates wait sa 4k review nito, pag ok talaga to durability nalang ang need to worry.

just bought a Sharp LC50UA6800X for 24k, runs on atv8, not bad na rin. wag lang magexpect na kalevel ng qled/oled.

Purchased a 40 inch smart TV from them a couple of months ago for my mom....PQ and sound quality is OK for the price point....we did encounter a problem with the unit. The TV turns on by itself randomly without any inputs on the remote...We called skyworth's service center....They are very helpful and a technician came within a couple of days.....The motherboard was replaced but after a couple of days, the problem started again.....I decided to just let it go and buy a new TV for my mom(went with LG this time)...I'll just give the coocaa to my in laws....The TV is still usable.....I just told them to unplug it when not in use so that it won't turn on by itself....
I guess this is what I get for buying a budget brand...
It has a mind on his own. Galing!
