Title: How to use Integrated amp as preamp

Mga gurus, kindly enlighten a noob.

1. If my integrated amp has pre out, can I connect this to a power amp and use it as preamp?

2. Do I need to disconnect speakers from my integrated amp if I use it as preamp?

3. The volume control would be via the integrated amp?

Set-up: Onkyo A9010 to be connected to a power amp.

pero kung Line Out lang sya for recording or connecting to another pre/ mixer
AFAIK wala yatang pre-out yang A9010?

Thanks, sir wheeler. I guess I'll be needing a preamp. Pero yong Cyrus 5 ko po ata may preout.
