Hi All! Newbie here..
Is TCL C6US still a good choice today? Tagal ko na kasi gusto bilhin to pero now lang na allow ng budget. (Mas mura na kasi compare to before).
Now im gauging between the two.
1. TCL 55C6US (2018 model i think)
2. LG 55UM7500 (2019 model)
Main use will be really for streaming (netflix) and downloaded movies though karamihan sa library ko is still at 1080p.
1. Which has better display? Will be using it on a moderately lit room (sala).
2. Which handles better upscaling?
3. Viewing angles will might be up to 45degs.
Thanks in advance!

My TCL 55C6US screen went blank after 2 years. Either board or display is defective. If one side will be disconnected, the other half will display half of the screen. If both connected no display. As per technician defective display. Cost is 12000. Decided to junk it. You get what you pay. On the bright side, you will always have the latest TV.

Warranty is 2 years right? Most probably went out after warranty... I don't want to spend my hard earned cash on something that might die after 2-3 years.
Would you recommend anything between 30-35k for a 55" 4k UHD TV?

TCL does not last long.
Stick with the better brands.

Yes. conked out just about after warranty period. Parang may alarm clock. TCL was my first 4k UHD TV. Try Skyworth brand, because being used as monitor in attendance in the company I worked for. Used 24/7, and still okay after 5 years. Not 55 inch though, only 32 inch.

LG. Boycott China Brand ✌️🇵🇭

True. Got enticed due to the two years warranty while other known brands only 1 year. So I thought maybe will last twice as long. Yun pala two years lang talaga.

got it! thank you sa mga nag reply. So most probably i'll go with LG 55UM7500.
Meron din pala ako nakitang iba...
1. Sony KD-55X7007G
2. Samsung 55RU7100
Kaso ako naman ang may bad experience sa Samsung.
Meron pa bang ibang models/brands na papasok sa 30-32k range?
Again, maraming salamat and more power!

ako based sa experience nmin dito sa bahay. wala pa kaming Tv na nasira panasonic and sony. LG oled baka lemon lng kasi i heard reliable dn nmn ang LG. umusok sya pero under warranty pa naman. pinalitan board. nung una ayaw maniwala tech ksi pag napunta sila wla sila makitang usok or amoy nasuusunog. kaya vinideo ko pa. i suggest SONY. mas mahal ng konte pero reliable tlga. mga lagpas 5-7yrs na pero solid pa dn.

Although I have a bad experience with LG (panel conked out after a bit more than 2 years), I think this is a good price for a 55". May we know where you got it from? :)

Got it at ans***s greenhills sir. I needed to bargain a little bit to get that price. Hopefully it will last as my old Panasonic Viera 42" which is still running great at 10 y/o ;D
and just incase it breaks after the warranty period, at least it is not that expensive

Thanks, sir. Got my current Samsung TV also from Anson's Greenhills. I was also able to bargain & get a discrete discount from them. :)

Hello guys, also currently looking at these models:
LG 55UM7500
Sony KD-55X7007G
Which model is better? And can these models play 2160p X265 and X264 movies from a 4TB External Drive?
All my LCD TVs were all LGs, so I'm leaning towards the LG model, for remote control compatibility among all my LG TVs.
Thanks in advance.

sony has better gradients and color and natural motion. even the cheapest model. sony always aims for accuracy over vibrancy. color may look dim and flat compared to other brands (all uncalibrated) but if you go to cinemas ull see thats what its supposed to look like, flat and cinematic not overly high contrast and colorful.
