Ask ko lang, kasi yung TV namin (LG OLED C6T55")all of a sudden namatay sya bigla naka steady red light nya. Tapos nagpatawag kmi sa service center, ang diagnostic nila papalitan na daw ng panibagong screen panel. Eh 100k daw ang replacement. They tried everything daw at panel daw ang issue all of a sudden. Tama po kaya ito? Or if ever kanino kaya pwede mag second opinion para malaman lang yung totoo

If it is really panel problem, mahal talaga ang replacement. The cost is about the same as buying a new TV.

Like computers, the TV today have only a few parts to replace.
When you open the back of your LG, you will see the power supply and control boards. Plus a few ribbon and power cables.
The way to diagnose is based on the repair manual telling you via the number of LED flashes. Another is to put on a new board and test (trial and error).
You can buy c6 parts on Ebay US.

Ganyan din nangyari sa akin. B6 ata yung model nung akin. Red light, pag press ng on magblink then mawawala as in normal operation, pero no display. LG quoted 110k for display panel.
Mejo nadala na ako. I bought a TCL 55 UHD TV for less than 20k. Pwede na, pansamantagal

Actually, I don't know where to get 2nd opinion eh. It's also not something you could just carry around. Siguro if I see a repair shop na very near where I live

Any other LG accredited service center can send a technician to give you a second opinion. May diagnostic fee lang siguro. And also might be a bit more difficult to set an appointment these days due to the pandemic.

Happened to our LG oled 65c7 also. As I’ve read, there’s a recall of the power supply for this model and lg won’t replace it because the problem according to theM is the panel. Panel costs 128k and the new set of tv is 120k. Our unit just lasted 2 years and 4 months with around 3-4hrs of use per day. And had a bad experience with lg customer service. Technicians too are always late or will reschedule without any advice.

Same thing happen to me on my LG Oled 55 incher EG910, it occur on its 2 1/2 year so no more warranty, panel also cost 90k, loved so much that TV that i bought again an LG OLED 55" C8, it still under warranty up to Feb 2021, hope that it doesnt happen again or else i will go back to a LED TV and just choose the high end or full array just to be near Oled picture quality.
