Not fond of the alliance this season. Feels like cheating. Without helping each other with the scrambled letters task, that episode could've had a less predictable and more entertaining outcome.
But it's weird they're only fully utilizing alliances after 32 seasons, while Survivor figured out you can use them to your full advantage during Season 1.
There is a theory that the blondes were spared from elimination because of this, and in this case, if true, I think it was only fair to give them another chance, as they actually persevered on their own. Some of the other teams would have taken forever without help from other teams.

I agree there should be some limits. But I think you can't completely forbid it because the result would be no interaction between the teams whatsoever. Di na sila maguusap beyond hi/hello. Corny naman, noon. A good middle ground might be no helping during tasks/roadblocks/detours. They can help each other with directions, who to uturn and whatnot.
Dati na ang alliances, but before it was the weak teams trying to boot out the stronger teams. Ngayon lang yata nangyari na yung mga ahead of the pack pa talaga ang tumarget dun sa mga nasa huli kaya naging predictable ang ending.

Same here. Unexciting finals, too. Result wasn't even close, it seems. Parang nawala na pati yung excitement sa paghahanap ng flights, at laging same flights na lahat.

Di naman siguro, because if so dapat naging target sana yung Asian couple.
May nabasa akong article, it seems even the producers did not like what happened but they can't do amything as it wasn't in the rules so they'll.probably introduce rules to avoid this in futire seasons.

I first watched the final episode and have to agree na di na nga maganda. Yung finals dapat ang may pinakamahirap na challenges pero dito walang saysay.
