Feeling a bit mixed on this. I like the more villainy Boba Fett than the anti-hero he is in Mandalorian.
Also I find Boba Fett's fighting skills very ordinary.
Hmmm.....somehow the arguably best episode so far in The Book of Boba Fett does not even include Boba Fett.... :-\
ma aksyon naman yung last episode. but the plot of the whole series eh -- meh. if not for the visuals and musical score eh hindi ko pag tyagaan ito haha. pwede na pang ubos ng oras.
Agree with the comments - this series was unnecessary. They should’ve preserved Boba Fett’s appeal as the “cool bad guy”. It eventually felt like just a set-up for the next season of The Mandalorian. The visuals/effects were top notch though.
For spin-offs so far this year, Peacemaker > The Book of Boba Fett.
So I watched the entire series yesterday and today and... Still disappointed. It was nice that Boba's new "softer"side was explained on the series (staying with the Tuskens for years). That doesn't change the fact that this change was forced to make way for a newer badass in town, Mando.
This series was just all over the place with uneven pacing, lame characterization, unnecessary cameos, and story detours.
The final episode gave great action, though. But it made me think, was the Rancor necessary? Boba had Slave 1! He could have just used that. There was no scene that indicated that it was out of commission.
And that guy doing the full 360 turn before firing? ridiculous! haha! But this was directed ata ni Robert Rodriguez. Parang signature niya yun. May scene ata na ganun sa Desperados hehehe...
