Very nice first episode. I'd say only Arrow from the CW was just as good in episode 1. Great that the Kingdom Come suit made a brief appearance. And now we have the Rebirth suit.

The CW has officially renewed its hit new series Superman & Lois for a second season.

Gusto ko sana simulan ito. Kaya lang nakakaturn off din kasi hindi ko na sinusundan amg arrowverse.Its getting good reviews, though.

is this a typical CW series with 20+ episodes? tapos ang daming filler episodes hehe. sana they'll cut it short to 10-13 eps lang like Marvel's series (Daredevil, WandaVision, etc.) to keep the viewers wanting for more and look forward to the next season.

Dati kasi talaga 20 - 24 episodes per season, and usually, may (mostly) stand alone story bawat episode or two, lalo na nung hindi pa uso ang VOD/streaming, you can actually afford to miss a few episodes here and there. Medyo recent development na nga lang yata yung may over-arching story/villain.

Watched episode 2. Not as engaging as episode 1. After 2 episodes, looks like the CW angst and drama is being kept to a minimum.

Supermand & Lois is set to take an extended break after airing its fifth episode and will return to finish its first season on May 18. This sudden schedule change was due to the ongoing pandemic that delayed the first season’s production in Canada.

Nice and touching 5th episode. Nostalgic flashbacks that paid tribute to Smallville. A tribute to all our mothers.
Second best episode after the first.

after 5 episodes, I'm close to dropping this haha. or at least ipunin ko muna episodes. nakaka sawa na kasi yung CW formula that was mentioned on this posts hehe. and I'm not digging the casts, ewan ko ba. siguro kung maganda si Lois haha. tanda na kasi si Emmanuelle Chriqui.

kaya ako pinoforward ko kapag magdadramahan na naman yang mga anak nila. halos di din nalalayo ang dramahan ng mga magulang lalo na dun kina lana. hehehe ok lang sana kung isang beses lang eh. kaso every episode meron. parang filler lang sa anime ang ginagawa nila. hehehe

Hate ko din yung family drama dito lalo na yung mga angst ng mga kids. These kids feel entitled na talaga. Btw, my statement is based on my real personal ongoing experience :-).

Some questions lang like for one, is this in a "different universe" from Supergirl tv series? Cause I remember this same Clark/Superman appeared in that series and also in the crossover series together with this same lois lane. However in this series Kara Danvers aka Supergirl was never mentioned nor she even existed here cause Clark and Morgan Edge both thought that they were the only surviving Kryptonians here on earth (or elsewhere). Clark never mentioned Kara as her cousin. But John Diggle made an appearance here representing ARGUS and mentioned Lyla as well. In the Arrow TV series they were in the same Universe as Supergirl.

In theory they are from the same Earth (Earth-Prime). Producers wanted the show to stand on its own for the initial season. But technically they are all in the Arrowverse.

Supergirl is in a different universe than Arrow. Flash had to travel across dimensions to meet her.

Not after the events of "Crisis on infinite Earths". They were in the same universe after that event.

End of The CW’s DC Era: ‘Superman & Lois’ to Conclude With Season 4
It’s the end of an era: Superman & Lois will take one final flight on The CW.
The Nexstar-backed broadcast network on Thursday announced that the upcoming fourth season of the DC Comics drama from exec producer Greg Berlanti will be its final run. The 10-episode final season starring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will air sometime in 2024.
The decision to conclude the superhero drama comes as producers Warner Bros. TV is clearing the decks of its DC Comics shows that fall outside of the universe currently being constructed by James Gunn.
