Just curious. If you have more than a dozen DTS-CDs, DVD-As or SACDs or even quadraphonic LPs, do tell us about them. And the gears that play them. Thanks.

i have 14 DVD concerts, 12 DVD-Audio's and 2 SACD's.... player is Pioneer 733A.

Ako estimate lang.... I have 10 DVD concerts, 25 DVD-Audios, 10 SACDs, and 10 HDCDs. I play them using Pioneer DV-633A, and just recently replaced it with DV-676A.

Ako naman estimate lang din, I have 15 DVD concerts, 11 DVD-Audios, 3 DTS-CD and 2 SACDs. I'm using my Pioneer DV-655A.

Let me add mine: 11 DVD concerts, 5 DTS-CDs, 14 DVD-As, 6 SACDs played on a Yamaha DV-S830. No SACD capability, just the CD layer.

I have 14 DVD concerts, 10 DVD-Audios and 4 SACDs that I play using a Pioneer DV-667a. :)

Around 100 Concert/MTV DVD, 4 DVD-Audio, 4 SACD, 4 24bit CD, 2 HDCD, 1 DTS-CD using Pioneer 655a and 667a.

Hi JT, just curious. Any difference between the 655 & 667 series? What I know is: 655 have Video Circuit Off switch which they claim for: Purest Audio Resolution.
If you have already 655 & bought 667 I'm sure you found significant advantage.

I just got my 667a last Wednesday and I bought it kasi its a bargain ...hehehe. I'll do the comparison this weekend at post ko yung difference.

ako naman own a pioneer DV563a, the US equivalent model ng 667... have about 50 dvd concerts and 6 dvd-a.

But I am not leaving 2 channel. Iba pa din.

Speaking of DVD-Audio and SACD, which is better between these 2 players, Pioneer 578A-S or Toshiba SD4960? balak ko kasing bumili ng player kaso ndi ko alam kung alin sa dalawa ang mas ok. Any help would be appreciated. sorry kung medyo ot. tia.

Almost the same, lamang lang ng kaunti sa CD playback (accdg sa aking pandinig) atsaka mas mukhang matibay yung built ng 655a. Parang mas maingay din yung tray and playback ng 667a.
Post ko ang aking full comparison this weekend.

I have 70+ DVD concerts, 12 DVD-As, 2 DTS-CD and 1 SACD. My player are JVC XV-723GD for DVD-A and Xenon 810D for DVD Concerts/DTS-CD.

got some 30 + DVD concerts [most of which are concert of the oldies and the "pang-inuman" type- ;D]; 2 DTS-CD; 3 XRCD; 2 HDCD; and about 20 hi-res disc [20/24 bit/192khz]

I have Sony 9000ES SACD stereo player & Pioneer 667A mutichannel DVD-A and SACD.
I have about 4SACDs, 4DVD-Audio, 2 DTS-CD, 2 XRCD and, about 5 HDCD, many high resolution disc and DVD-Video concerts.

but i still have to start my collection of SACDs ::)
and i have no plans of getting any DVD-As for obvious reasons ;)

Good find there, Audioslave You're in ;D, I would have gotten that unit last saturday. Was it you who beat me to PPP? Good luck on your upcoming collection. Montage would be a good place to start.

i have a poor man's multi-channel player... pioneer dv-578a. :)
i own about 20 multi-channel discs. more sacd than dvd-a. contrary to some think, imho... some dvd-a sounds better than some sacd's, and vice versa.
bb king and clapton's "riding with the king" dvd-a is the best multi-channel mixed i've heard, so far.

I have a Pioneer 578A-S (Universal Player), 2 SACD, 1 DTS CD and about 4 Concert DVD-video disk (hope I can get a DVD-A soon...)..

I have seen from Abensons and Ansons Branches new models of Panasonic and JVC Mini-components which already support DVD Audio Playback.
The logo on the Disc tray says "DVD Audio/Video"
While some Sony HTIB supports SACD Playback.

Any idea as to the price range of your Sony SCD-XA900ES stereo sacd player? Was that bought from the US/Japan or do any of our audio shops in the metro carry it?

I think the original SRP here is about 60K. I bought the unit in our local AV shop. I got the unit way less than half of the original price.

Haven't made up my mind which player I want but it will definitely be a Universal one...Although the Marantz sa 8400 looks lovely as well as the shanling!!!!! Probably stock up on SACDs and DVD-A discs for now and get a player when I go home to the Philippines..... ;)

feed to a pioneer dv600. ps3 for sacd.

Just explored recently the audio capability of my Denon 1907. I use it for movie viewing most of the time. But when I learned about 24bit audio cds and SACDs, I was amazed by their sound clarity/quality.
But no plan yet in buying separate tube/integrated amp for audio. I'm satisfied with the power and quality of my Denon so far. Tapos just this weekend I tried "Direct" (setting) as recommended to me by experts and wow :o! Mas lalo pang gumanda, I can't believe my speakers sing! :o

9 concert dvd's, 5 SACD and 3 DVD-A using my Pio 600. So far I'm satisfied with the player I'm using but I'm looking for a dedicated audio player. What can you recommend mga sir? Sensya na kung may konting pagka-OT. TIA ;D
