Thanks,..I think that was the last pair from The Home Theater...Actually, that was 2x 3.5meters each..but i only needed 2x2.5meters so they cut a meter each...sayang nga ung 2x 1meter...i don't know if anybody will still be interested with that..Check mo rin kung may bago silang stock....
Anyway, sa WATT HI-FI sa makati cinema square...they're selling it for like P300/meter...before i got it for P100/ft...so mas mura ngayon... ;)

hmm..ayos naman ang combo nila. First of all, wla talaga sa plano ang pag bili ng marantz, naka sale lang sya and di pa ako gano nag bbrowse dito sa pinoydvd before I bought it. Although marami ang nag sasabi na iba dapat kinuha ko. Pero in my opinion, ayos naman ang performance, and madaling gamitin ang marantz. Actually, marantz-wharfdale dapat ang setup ko. Pero nung nag audition ako ng mission vs. wharfdale, malaki ang difference...kaya i decided to get mission na lang. Pero kung pinag aralan ko muna before buying, baka nag denon 1905 ako or yamaha rxv750..pero so far, im satisfied with my marantz sr4500, with my sub na sw150, sakto lang for my room, pero kung nag research pako ng mabuti, bka nag velodyne cht 10 ako... So, maganda talaga mag canvas muna ng mabuti bago bumili. ;)

I also have a Mission Marantz set-up Marant4300 lang with M73i and M7c1i centers - I personally find this more musical compared to my previous set-up which was a HK 3500-mission combo... I actually just decided to downgrade since there was a time I hardly had time to use my HT Setup so I agreed to swap my HK with the Marantz... I was surprised that MUSICALLY - I find it better... HT WISE HK - Mission seemed better.. maybe because of the power HK had.. just my 2 cents.. I was happy with this downgrade :)

nice & neat HT set-up, congrats sir :).........try nyo palit ng position ang right-front & sub, then move your left-front farther away from the TV for a wider (bigger) soundstage (suggestion lang po) 8)

ok lang naman ung sw150 for its price. Saka maliit lang naman room ko. Medyo malambot ang tunog. Pero i could have gotten a CHT-10/12r..hehehe! Future upgrade siguro..kaya lang di pa ko nahahawahan ng SARS eh. :P thanks!

tama po kayo brader jasper, bralet nga ng flat panel yung naka abang sa wall.... ::) :o
tanong ko lang po bro, wood shim po ba yang vertical wood strips? kayanin kaya nito ang bigat ng panel? isang option lang po... pwede walang nito instead use expansion bolt that you need to drill into the wall & use right size of screws to fix the bracket that can take the weight of the panel... suggestion ko lang po ito... ;)

just a suggestion if possible, can you unscrew the lid/cover of the bottom layer and place the players there instead so you can place the center in the middle of your beautiful rack?

Good idea...Subukan ko. ;D dapat ung center ang lalagay ko sa lalagyan, kaso pag nilagay ko naman ung avr sa taas, ma kalat ung cable...check ko kung natatanggal ung drawer..

i suppose the cables to connect to the avr won't be a problem, you can drill small holes to accomodate. di na mahahalata as long as its at the bottom most of the drawer.

Sorry bro hindi ako mahilig mag-basa, gusto ko laging tuyo :) Long standing joke lang namin yung hindi critical ang surrounds(as quoted by other members before) ;D ;D ;D of course critical yung rears, same as the fronts(bumpers :D)

while it is true that the sound that normally comes out of your side surround speaker is very minimal over-all compared to that coming out from your center, fronts and subs, it is the whole equation of where it all emanates from which count. imaging from almost all angles is equally important to provide cinematic experience.
i haven't tested wharfs and only heard my M7Ds and a pair of Definitive Technology. my take is go for dipole for side surround:
1. go for high sensitivity and, no less than 100w per channel at that,
2. low freq specs would provide crispier sound,
3. the dipoles provide better imaging
all this IMHO.
hope this helps your quest.

di naman po, same tyo ng fronts and surrounds sir. yung tv, for sale na nga at kelangan mag PJ, nakaka inggit ng malaking screen talaga e :) sensya na po yung surrounds di ko alam magkano exactly, parang naging package deal kasi niya kasama yung center e, sa singapore ko po nakuha dati.

Anyway, sayang at umuwi kayo agad. sayang di tayo nakapag pa picture. dumating ung isa kong friend na taga woodlands at jamming pa kame hanggang 11:30 kagabi kanila edwin. Nakapag pa picture kame kasama ung setup nya... post ko na lang pag na send nya na.

Yes it will work on your Focal or any speaker with enough space on top to put it.
Placing it behind the top part of the speaker will move the singer or the bands placement behind the speaker plane. This will depend on your preference as some like the sound of their system to be more upfront.
Try it dahil it will not cost you too much at baka malay mo this tweak will give something better on your system ;).

nag basa2 ako, mas ok review ng audiolab...dapat nga ung 8000cdq eh, ung may kasamang CD player...kaso laki ng difference. nsa 1.1k ung mdac. Mukang mas ok kung sa hi-fi amp gagamitin to...hehe..tumitingin tingin nako ng integrated amp ;D kelan tayo sa inyo? kahit after work ng weekends ok lang :)
