Astrovision opens its doors on July 29 at the 3rd level of SM Makati. It's larger and offers more variety. Check it out -- and while you're at it, you may want to browse Warner's expanded catalog of sale titles.

Been waiting for them to open... ive been passing by there for quite a long time.
this would be great. compared to astro glorietta. kahit walang tao, masikip. ;D
hoping that they have all titles for sale 300 less, and boxsets too. ;) hopefully, carnivale makes an appearance for 1100.

Yey! Finally! I hope magka-sale ala Astro Waltermart, but much bigger. Hopefully kung may sale man, masama na yung mga new releases ng Fox and Magnavision (not the cheap 299 peso budget editions). Ipagdadasal ko to!

just came from astro sm makati. no luck, walang "special" sale and very limited yung mga dvd titles. kainis pa, i saw a copy of flight of the phoenix na merong 299 sticker. when i got it merong sumita sa akin na di raw yun kasama sa sale kasi bagong title lang daw yun. eh malay ko ba, sabi ko bakit niyo nilagyan ng sticker, nagkamali daw...oh well, pagpasensyahan na lang kasi first day =)
just went to tower glorietta, meron silang sale. the ones i saw were last samurai and troy for 475 each. limited din yung mga naka sale. in astro glorietta naman, puro vcd lang naka "special" sale.

Fight Club R3 is not that good. The packaging is misleading. There is only one commentary track and not 4.

Been there a while ago. Ang konti ng DVD titles nila! Mas marami pa nung sale ng Astrovision Waltermart! I was disappointed. Their opening wasn't grand at all! >:(

Wala, as in! Ang konti talaga! Mas marami pa ngang titles yung Astro Glorietta. I'm hoping soft opening lang yung kanina. Napaka-uneventful talaga.

Is the new astro store, an astro plus? Kasi, before when it was still in the works, signages advertises it as "Astroplus" just wondering.

Astroplus siya supposedly. But due to its rather disappointing grand opening, I feel so negatively about it (sorry I just can't help it)!

Treat it as a soft opening for now. Apparently SM only gave them 2 days to prepare for the sale weekend so a lot of the stock didn't arrive in time.

Went there around 4pm. Wala yung mga titles you mentioned.

Ok naman. Di masyadong maraming tao. DVD titles were limited. The only title worth mentioning for the Fox 299 sale was X-Men 2 which a lot of people are looking for yata. Saw 3 copies.

i was there around 1pm yesterday, there really weren't that many titles available. ??? i was sble to speak to sir astro and he mentioned that it was indeed just a soft opening and that they will announce the grand opening sale hopefully by next week. ;D they are having problems bringing in some stocks due to sm's policy, they can only deliver 12 midnight. lets just cross our fingers for the sale. ;D i might just try my luck w tower records 1st! ;D

went there yesterday afternoon to check it out....the place is really spacious...konti nga lang yun dvd stocks nila and they arent really on sale like the one at waltermart....when i went there they were still fixing their stocks pa nga eh :-\..... will wait na lang for the announcement of an opening sale ;D

been there last fri and the store is big (compared to glorieta astro). but no special sales :( just the same promo with the others

Got bored this afternoon and decided to check this out. I've been reading the posts since yesterday so I didn't really expected anything. I ended up buying Ghost Ship though for P425. The holographic cover did it for me. I saw some concert DVDs including Eagles Farewell Tour 1 Live in Melbourne which is priced at P1950 yata. I'm just waiting for my order of this title from digitalprincess so I just looked at it. At least, I have an idea what my own copy would look like. :)

Mukhang dead na ang thread na ito ha? I suppose wala na sila talagang balak mag-Grand Opening Sale. I went back there a week ago. Ganun pa rin. Ang konti pa rin ng DVD's. :(
